Nice snap on grommets, fairly easy to use. I don't know how well they'll do when I wash them. When I do I plan on putting them in a zippered bag so perhaps they won't come off. They seem tight if you get them snapped all the way on. The color is nice, it does blend well with a dark brown rod although they are lighter than oil rubbed bronze. They are more like a medium brown. I remade my old rod pocket curtains into grommet curtains and it was a lot of work to redo but I think it's worth it if that's the kind of curtains you want. I would say thus far that I recommend these grommets. There were a few little tiny marks on some, like little bitty scratches but not a whole lot of places. No big deal actually, as you probably would never notice unless you were looking really close. ... show more

I had rod drapes but moving into a new home, they wouldn't work so I ordered these DIY grommets to see if I could change the look. SO EASY! They snap together very easily but I used a few taps with a rubber mallet just to make sure. They ARE plastic but durable!
