I used these as the front and rear turn signals on my 1999 Ford F350. When I opened the box these came in, my first thought was "uh oh, these things are HUGE". But the truck had ample space inside the lens assemblies and they fit just fine, no worries. Since I needed 4 and this was a pack of 8, I figured I might as well use a couple of them for my backup lamps as well. Even though they only need to be single filaments (1157 instead of 3157 I think?), they fit and lit up great and are much brighter than the old incandescent bulbs. Should make backing up with a trailer much nicer. The fit in the lens assembly for the backup lights was a bit tighter - the LED assembly nearly touches the plastic inside, but it does fit. Barely. Note that they are polarity sensitive - whatever you're replacing, activate those bulbs (turn on the 4 ways, or have someone test with the car in reverse) and try it out. If it doesn't light, flip around and that should do it. Also note that you may need to update to an LED compatible flasher module. I did, and after ordering a piece of junk module on Amazon, I ended up getting a Novita branded EP27 module instead which worked great. The bad one I got at first worked, but then kept clicking even with the engine off, key out. Not good. The Novita brand worked as expected so do yourself a favor and just get that one to start. I have mixed feelings about these bulbs. They are a good bit brighter and work, but they were pretty tough getting them into the socket on the front turning lights on my 2007 Toyota Tundra. I had to really push hard to get them deep enough into the socket to get contact with the current/electricity. The rear lights went in much better as I replaced all 4 turning lights (front and back). I was disappointed to see that I now have hyper flash and will try to adapt myself to it first before I attempt to order the resisters (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QVQBYGC/?coliid=I26MHJZG6AR0UT&colid=E0JH2KH4MO6A&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it) and install them. I've read some reviews that the resisters get really hot and not sure I want to have to worry about a potential fire under the hood or something important melting. There are more expensive alternative bulbs that say resisters are not required, but if you can live with the potential hyper flash these are a good deal (probably the best with good reviews). I also replaced my headlights at the same time because the Halogen turn signal lights also serve as daytime running lights of sorts on my truck and were melting the plastic inside my old headlights and was another reason I went with LED bulbs this go round. These yellow LEDs were a perfect upgrade for my 2008 Toyota Corolla's taillights and turn-signals! Even better, these bulbs appear to be a quality product at an excellent price: Four bulbs for the price that most sellers are selling two bulbs, which works very well because one car uses four yellow bulbs—two in the front and two in the back. In my Corolla, the bulbs worked the same regardless of their orientation in the bulb socket. These yellow LEDs appear to be approximately twice as bright as the original bulbs, which is bright enough to be clearly seen in daylight without blinding drivers at night. They compliment my Antline red LED taillights well. The dim setting (used for the "edge marker" headlight mode on the front two bulbs) works as intended. Turn-signal operation uses high brightness in the front and back. I did have to mod my flasher relay to prevent hyperflashing, which is no fault of these bulbs and would have to be done with any LED replacement due to the increased efficiency of the LEDs. After buying an aftermarket LED flasher relay and being dissatisfied with its performance, I disassembled the original Toyota flasher relay, desoldered the current-sense shunt (looks like a tall staple standing by the internal relays), and replaced it with a 0.1ohm, 1/2watt resistor. Now the original flasher relay is calibrated for LED bulbs. If I remove one, it hyperflashes again; and if I install the original lamp bulbs, it only flashes once (overcurrent protection). ... show more

For less than $20 this is definitely worth the price. Remember that these bulbs are shining through the original tail light lenses which were designed for a single light source and meant to disperse it in it's own pattern so it's not going to be like putting a lighthouse on the back of your car. Now for why I would do this again... 1st picture had these LED bulbs on the right and traditional bulbs on the left. They are about 30% but more importantly...look at how much the light fills the tail light lens. The lights on the left clearly have shadows and uncovered areas. 2nd picture is with brakes on. Notice the light being cast on the ground. The original bulbs had what looked like fingers shining while the LED bulbs on the right actually flood the area being the car. 3rd picture is the same lens config as above - old on left, LED on right. The further back you go from the car the more the light coming from the new LED bulbs is evident. Again... $20 vs $300+ for full LED tail lights.. I'll do it again. Another pro... that $20 was for 8 bulbs that can fit many applications like front turn signals, side marker lights, backup lights, etc. ... show more
