I never balk at getting a stack if targets for the range. These aren’t perfect, but I’m not a pro. They paper is thick enough, and the included pins are nice to have, but there are exactly four. If you lose one or break one, not so great. The arrow remover is also a great add on, though nothing to shake a stick at. I’d buy again. I’m usually using recurve or longbow. ... show more

He has a nice wooden bow and arrow set, but they are just toys. Even though it's not a really good/professional set, I wanted to get him some real targets. These targets are exactly as advertised; correct size and desgin. Printed brightly. The targets are printed on paper that's just a bit thicker than regular computer paper. Since we don't have hay bales or something like that to set up these targets on, I used a hole puncher to make holes in the corners of the paper and then tied string to each corner. Then I tied the strings to two posts of our backyar pergola. In this way, his target is suspended in the air. I have to reinforce the corners with tape so the string doesn't rip through. So for that reason, it would be nice for me if the paper was thicker. But I understand it has to be thinish so it can be used the way it's originally intended. The good thing about it being this thickness is that he lightweight arrows have just rubber tips and they rip through easily, which is very satisfying for him to see the target full of holes at the end of a play session. The targets come all rolled up together. None had folds/creases/wrinkles. But you do have to roll them the opposit way to get them to lay flat. ... show more

The last time I purchased paper target faces of this size ( about 10 years ago), it cost me approximately almost 75 cents per target. This package of 50 faces (which is only $4 more than the 30 piece pack) contains archery target faces that meet official regulation for 40 centimeter target faces. The weight of the paper is comparable to what I've purchased before. It's not flimsy printer paper. It feels right. In addition to the 50 target faces, there are 4 plastic target pins. Target pins, which prior to the internet online shopping age, were often hard to fine. Currently, you can find the classic wire design for approximately $1 per pin as well as somewhat similar plastic pins for approximately $3 for a set of four. The set of four included are made of plastic have sufficient surface area to adequately hold the target face to the target. Lastly, included in this package is an arrow puller. This is a firm but squeezable pliable rubber piece. I like this better than the existing arrow puller that I own that uses a pliers design. This one is superior in some ways because it gives your hand a firm grip, but also feedback as to how much pressure to apply because it is gripped in your palm. When using my pliers design arrow puller, I'm always a bit afraid that I might squeeze down too hard on an aluminum or fiberglass arrow. So the price per paper target face has to factor in the fact that the package price includes these very useful target face pins, and the arrow puller. Lastly, if you are new to archery, do not use the arrow puller in the manner shown in the photograph. The hand position is too far away from the target face. The arrow puller should be squeezed around the arrow to grab the arrow as close to the target face as possible to avoid arrow damage and to avoid pulling the entire target forward off it's stand to collapse on top of your arrow shafts thus damaging them. ... show more

Nice target, holds up with multiple shot. The pegs are sturdy. They are made of a thick plastic material and what I like about them is they won’t rust when left outside like some of the others I have. This item comes with an arrow puller, 4 pegs and targets. I would recommend these targets.
