    • Eventually Leak
Both containers eventually began to leak. Once one began to leak, I transferred the product to to the spare container, and it also eventually leaked. Fortunately, I was able to contain it before it got too bad. I also saw a Dollar General sticker on one container, so I do not know the true value of the containers. I never shop at Dollar General, so it was not transferred from something I have. Maybe the company is part of Dollar General. I don't know. Overall, it should be fine if you use them for solid food storage, but, as for paint or other liquids, beware. You could have a mess on your hands.     • A little on the thin side.
I thought they would be a little sturdier, I dropped one which was full of liquid and cracked the corner, liquid came pouring out. This was unexpected, I thought it would hold up better. They are made with very thin walls. The lid once tighten down stays on very well. I would say these are not made for heavy duty use better used for flour, or grains something like that. It will hold liquid just fine but don't Bang it around too much. I would buy them again. ... show more

    • Great for storage of old paint
Size: 3 Pack 64 Oz
Used these containers for storing old paint instead of leaving it in the old rusty paint can. Can't yet say how well the paint will keep but it was easy to transfer the paint to the bottles because of the wide mouth on them.

I've bought these before (in 2019) and loved them. 5 stars. I just bought another two 2-packs the other day for an event . . . not so good. So be aware. They are clearly much flimsier than before. The plastic is definitely thinner and bends easily to the touch. I imagine these won't last as long as the first four I bought, which I still use to this day. I also imagine I won't be buying these again. It's a shame because they are a good size and I love the handle and the wide mouth opening. I use them to batch cocktails (punches, sangrias, etc.) for catering events and they've proved to be sturdy and have traveled well. But I can tell these new ones will puncture, dent or damage much easier than the past version. Will be looking for a new container in 2021. It's hard to photograph the downgrade in quality, but the jar on the left is one of my old jars . . . compared with the new one on the right. ... show more

    • Cheap plastic = A lot of leaks
We ordered about 10 of these and half of what we have purchased have cracked, broken, have holes, etc. These are not handled very often, have water in them sitting on a shelf most of the time, yet after we use the water and refill twice, the jug is pretty much busted from that minor bit of handing. They may be a good price, but if you are looking for long term usage, these are not what you are looking for. ... show more

Quality and price was good. Smaller than what I expected, but that's my fault for not checking size. Still will use to store extra food products. Recieved package in great condition and in a timely manner. Would recommend this product.

    • They WORK and LOVE the WIDE MOUTH!!
Needed something that could endure small items which I could toss in and shake up for an easy cleaning. This filled the spot! Some items are too small to put into the washing machine; other items only require a minute of agitation. Need the wide mount for ease of getting items in and out with arthritic hands. One I could use for items mentioned above. The second jar I have used for storage. Love the fact they are light weight and there is a handle. Thank you for this item. It is just what I needed.
