This kit is an easy and inexpensive fix for virtually any riding mower, and several types of small engines. Installation took about a minute, and the only tool I needed was a pair of pliers to loosen the hose clamp on my fuel line. No leaks, not even a drop. Push the gasket into the fuel tank FIRST, and then push the elbow connector into the gasket. You can probably make it work the other way around, but it's going to take a lot more time and effort. ... show more

There are lots of choices when I was looking. It helps to know at a min. the size of the piece you are replacing, and model or make of the equipment it is going into. Generally speaking, almost all lawn equipment have the same size fuel lines, so the key is the tank opening size.

Only needed one. Im sure Ill loose the spares till this thing rots away like the OEM. Works, fits, does not leak. Buying 3 was still WAY cheaper than the dealer. They wanted a model number, year of manufacture, etc..etc... didnt have one, wanted 26 bucks,... you know. the typical dealer experience in the US. ... show more

    • Leaking in less than a year
I installed this bushing and elbow in my Craftsman GT5000 last May. I went into my shed a couple of days ago and found the bushing was leaking fuel and I had quite a mess. I emptied the fuel tank and pulled out the bushing and elbow. The bushing was quite hard compared to one of the new ones I had left over from the initial purchase. I decided to not use any of the left over new bushings and to obtain a bushing and elbow from a local small engine shop. Comparing what the small engine shop sold me and the new left over bushing, there was a clear difference in quality. Lesson learned! ... show more
