I love the quality of the moissanite stone. Moissanite is almost as hard as a diamond so I wouldn't worry about scratches or chipping. It looks and sparkles just like a diamond. Just a high-quality, gorgeous, ring. I've been wearing it for a week all day and night, no scratching or wear and tear whatsoever. The band is thinner but also a very beautiful silver shine. No scratches or marks so far. I'm really happy with this ring, it's my pride and joy, and the quality and durability is so much beyond any other costume jewelry I've bought (like cubic zirconia or silver PLATED rings). If you're looking for a diamond alternative that looks identical to a diamond and has similar quality, I would DEFINITELY give this ring a try. I looked at other stores on Amazon for moissanite but they all got bad reviews on shipping wrong items and not wanting to replace or refund in a timely manner. The media could not be loaded. I would like to say that the ring is beautiful. Very sparkly. It’s a larger carat. So if you like that. Then you would love the size. What rubbed me the wrong way was looking up the GRA number and it not being found on the official GRA reporting website. That was very disappointing. Why give me the report if it’s fake? The media could not be loaded. UPDATE What I assume is the gold plating has started bubbling and peeling. The stone still looks beautiful but I’m so sad about the band quality. I’m not hard on it at all but do wear it often. I would only recommend for short term or occasional wear My husband got me this for Christmas to pair with my real diamond and platinum wedding band and you literally cannot tell the difference between the diamonds and the Moissanite. This also sits beautifully with a thicker band. Cannot speak to how it will last over time but I have other Moissanite jewelry that is years old and still shines like new. As to reviews about scratching, every ring will scratch if worn daily, my platinum wedding band has scratch on the bottom.
