The lights are exactly what I was looking for, small profile, bright, and very durable. If you are looking at something that can be used for area illumination for a trailer, these lights are perfect. I just installed them on my travel trailer, took me longer to plan the wiring than the actual install itself. I was able to tap into my porch dome light so they come on the same time I turn on my porch switch. I grounded it to a bolt and washer used to mount the light onto the trailer siding. They light up the porch very nicely for an evening to sit out with friends and have a drink. I will order another pair to make the porch even brighter, but for now it works good. My only complaint is the mounting system, it is advertised as being 360° swivel all the way around, that is not true. If you mount these in the angle I did, they are great. If you want the light to point straight out from the brackets, the vent fins stick out too far that the light will not rotate all the way, at least not if you are mounting it on a flat surface. I didn’t need to mount it that way anyways so its not problem. ... show more

They're pretty bright, not super bright, but bright enough at this price point. I'm concerned about the water resistance; there are several reviews that mention leaks and condensation getting inside the housing. I'm thinking about disassembling them and adding a bead of silicone sealant around the lens. We shouldn't have to make pre-emptive repairs on items billed as waterproof, but I figure a little effort now will save me time, aggravation, and replacement cost later. ... show more

My wife bought me these for Christmas. I was unable to install the lights as one was defective when I bench tested them, hence the 3 star rating (should have been 2.5*). The one that did work was extremely bright and appeared to be fairly well made. It is made with an all aluminum housing with multiple large cooling fins on the back. I noticed some of that the LEDs were not centered in the reflectors while some were perfectly centered. That didn’t appear to affect the blinding light output. I am returning the pair to Amazon and have ordered a replacement set. Hopefully I will be able to rate the replacements with 5 stars. UPDATE: The replacement lights were received quickly and both lights work. I installed the pair as back up lights on my Tahoe to use backing up a utility trailer. These things are BRIGHT! I also replaced my #3157 backup bulbs with Sylvania LEDs. I increased my rating based on these replacement lights. Had I not received a defective one in the first pair, I would rate them 5*. I just installed them today and cannot comment on how long they last or how waterproof they are. ... show more

We have been using a string of these in our greenhouse for extending lighting during the evening hours. They are an inexpensive alternative and more waterproof than the usual offerings. They are very bright, full spectrum. Don't be fooled by the red or blue LEDs: there is plenty of blue and red in these bright white lights. We have them on a timer using a car battery and a solar panel. We are running them nightly for 3 hours starting at dusk (we adjust the start time twice a year. i have these on my 2017 ram and they work very well and light up alot when i am backing up to one of many trailers that i use for my business and when i need extra light for working these work very well for that when you need them for working late nights on a job site

These are nice and small. At 13.5 volts in they draw 930 ma. / .93 a. and the supply reads 12 watts. Companies always over rate the wattage of these lights. My use for these is to put on the ramp as back up lights on a 30ft flatbed trailer. They are not super bright like off road lights, on the other hand, in my shop, closed with the lights out, I could see objects very clearly at 35 ft. I'm considering getting another set to use one as a deck light in the front. ... show more
