Looks nice, very decorative, and if that is what you are looking for, get this latch. Not heavy duty at all. Probably my mistake in not reading product description, but this latch set is very plastic material. It is very secure on our fence double gate! We had one on the outside that was not secure, so we put this one on the inside and it can be secured with a lock if needed.

Used this latch for my wood gate. Came with anchors and screws and extra screws. Easy to install. Hold both pieces together where you want it. Put a screw to hold it up. Line up both pieces and it the rest of the screws.

Unfortunately I had to improvise when installing it. I only used the longer portion of the two components. I threw the rest away and decided it was not worth my time to return this product. Like all DIY people, I kept what I could use and just learned from my poor decision to purchase this latch.
