Would not work on multiple Adafruit 3133 "Ultimate GPS Featherwing" dev boards at 3.3 volts power. I have multiple dev boards to test with and multiple antennas to compare with. My opinion, possibly incorrect, is this antenna requires more than 3.3 volts as numerous reports indicate it works great on 5V powered microcontrollers. Or possibly some interaction with the MTK3339 GPS module unable to provide enough current at 3.3V input, hard to say for certain... Physically, nicely made, appears very high quality. ... show more

I bought two of these for a rocketry project. They both arrived DOA. I have checked them with three different GPS module types. The GPS modules all run on weaker antennas..

    • Worked well
Worked good coupled with a NEO-6M GPS unit. Can take awhile to find satellites, but once it does, the signal is great, and will even work indoors.

Really pleased with this antenna. I’ve got it connected to an Adafruit Ultimate GPS unit and it’s usually locked onto between 9 and 11 satellites.

Antenna was dead on arrival, had to use the smaller chip antenna that came with the GPS module.

    • No voltage or current specs
There are no voltage or current specs for this part either on Amazon or anywhere else on the web. Nothing about Tosuny either. The antenna is not working at 3.7Vdc but I can't tell if it is broken or needs a different voltage level. Switched over to a similar antenna made by Cirocomm, and its doing fine, so I know my GPS parts are working. I submitted a question to them about the specs but never heard back. ... show more
