We were real hesitant to order this stuff. We had about 300 sq. ft. of ugly red painted concrete patio to do something with. Great stuff, very strong, easy to install (we had so much to do we hired someone to help), loved the color, great drainage after last night’s rain. Only time will tell if it fades. I bought these tiles to protect my deck, which is showing some wear and tear. I ordered them in khaki. The color doesn't look like khaki though. They look more like milk chocolate. Consequently these tiles look just like Kit Kats covering my deck. The tiles are thinner and lighter than I anticipated. But since they are so low to the ground they feel sturdy enough when standing on them. Assembly is super easy. Just lean down on them to snap the tiles together. Knee pads are a must. I worry about about how durable the tiles will be over time. I can easily see the tiles fading quickly in sunlight. Unlike wood you can't just restain the surface to bring back the color. Not sure if I'll have to rip these out in the near future if the color fades too quickly. Also don't know how long the plastic will hold up through the years, if they last that long. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Balcony makeover called for composite deck tiles. Can get them from ikea but utilized prime free shipping w/ Amazon. SCORE ! These came in like 2/3 days, all tiles included, super easy snap on feature. They look matte but have a smooth feel without being shiny. Says “gray” but comes off a dark gray/black which was perfect for me as that’s what I wanted. I used all but literally 1 tile to fill the designated area. (Perimeter will be faux grass deck tiles). Box isn’t too heavy. I did the installation myself in under a half hr. The railing interferes in one area and I was about to literally snap that piece of the tile off and design around it. I bought a set of 27, 9, and 32 for my small, third-floor balcony (10x6). The three sets I bought were all in dark grey and all were purchased within a couple of days of each other. The set of 9 and 32 matched, the set of 27 was a little darker. Thankfully, with the furniture we have on the balcony, you can't really tell. These get really hot, so I would recommend them for a small, covered patio with a lot of shade. If these are in direct sunlight, you will not want to go barefoot. They were pretty easy to install. A tiny bit finicky, but not much. I did my 10x6 patio in about an hour. My goal was to make the area more attractive for as little money as possible. I achieved improving the aesthetics, but the $250 I spent feel very steep for the mismatched colors and hot plastic. ... show more

These are not worth the money. Realistically these should cost $10 a pack. There are only 9 tiles a pack, for $30 that is a complete rip off. I wouldn't have mind the fact that they are cheap plastic but for this price point it is very disappointing. The amount of packs I would need to cover up my beat down deck, I could honestly just fix the whole thing. ... show more
