I am not usually this critical but I have to say, these designs are absolutely NOT easy to peel. I have 4 heat presses (2 Auto Presses & 2 Clamshell Presses), I do both HTV, DTF & Sublimation prints/designs constantly. I have a method and it's usually so simple. While I was able to get them done, it was not simple, not even a little bit simple. If you are a shirt designer and someone who works with these prints all of the time like I do, then you also know that each press is different, so the recommended temp setting and time setting is just a suggestion. I always start with the manufacturers suggested settings to start out with when I am working from prints I have never worked with before. Let's talk designs, while these designs were cute, the one I really liked should have said, "You BET Giraffe I'm Cute" However, it said "You BAT Giraffe I'm Cute", not entirely a waste if you have HTV and can find the right font, and the right color to replace the A with an E, but you should NEVER have to do that when you are ordering designs from a company. Not only would you be changing the material being pressed (because they use vinyl for these designs, but it probably won't match your vinyl) but the chances of you getting it to be an exact match to the font is going to take you a hot minute and then you have to hope you have the right color of HTV. Aside from that, all of the designs were cute and that was the only misspelled word, but that's probably the best one of the bunch in my opinion and I really wanted to be able to use it. The price is reasonable for this set, however, the ease of application is not as they claim either. The suggested settings are 338F for 10-15 seconds. Not on my presses. One of my presses is the original auto press from HTVRONT, my other press (the one I used) is the brand new auto press from HTVRONT, and it works magnificently so I know it wasn't a "press" issue. I only got the 2nd press because the upgraded press allows you to control the pressure of the heat press and their first one doesn't have that option. I had to REALLY play with these designs and the heat setting and if it was a cool peel or a warm peel or a hot peel. What I worked out was a temp of 365F with a press time of 30 seconds. It is more of a warm peel, not hot or cold, but warm and I still struggled with some of the tiny designs and lettering. I used my sharp weeding tool on the parts that absolutely wouldn't separate from the film. Something you should never have to do. All-in-all they did turn out good except for the giraffe one that I just refuse to use, but there was way more effort than what there should have been. I might make the suggestion to the company that using a different film that isn't so thick could be a good starting point for an easier peel. I have noticed the thicker the transfer film is, the harder it is to get the transfer to stick to the fabric and remove from the film. If you choose to go ahead and get this set, try following the settings I listed above, also, make sure you do a 2nd press after you remove the film with the buffer of a teflon sheet in order to make sure these designs aren't going to fall apart during laundering or wear. Great for a quick gift. Pressed easily and directions were accurate. The colors are absolutely gorgeous. Great price for the amount of transfers that you get. Held up perfectly after washing. I did use a heat press. Not sure how a hand iron would do.

These iron on decals are very cute. Each one is fun and having used a huge variety of different iron instruments, I can tell these will be a very easy to apply set. The quality is decent, and they will press on to be a thinner decal which is great for kids clothes, as you tend to be able to get them to adhere stronger if you use enough pressure when pressing. These were almost a perfect set, until I realized that the one I wanted the most, actually has a misspelled word. Instead of reading "bet" it reads "bat". Now, it is possible to make it work, by adding an additional decal to the side, such as a baseball bat or an animal bat, but, that does mean ordering a separate set with those themes. It is an unnecessary step that is an option, but definitely should not be mandatory due to a misprint. As far as I notice, it is the only decal misspelled, so I did only remove a single star for this. If not for that one flaw, I would have given these the full 5 stars. ... show more
