There are many fences like this on the market right now, and I've been lucky to try many of them, so my review will be a bit of a comparison of how the KYATE 25Pcs Garden Fencing is to other products. The thing that I really like about this fencing system is the built-in connectors with each panel. A lot of similar fences have plastic pieces you have to line up and clip on - this is WAY easier to work with. You'll probably want some gloves when you install this, as the grid pieces are not quite flush with the top rail (this is the same for all fences I've tried). The fence panels go in the soil pretty easily so long as your soil isn't too compacted - if it is, you'll want to moisten the soil first or work with these after a soaking rain. These are not going to work well if you have an extremely rocky yard or expect to be hitting large pipes an inch or two below the soil. While I don't think these fences are extremely aesthetically pleasing, especially if you're using them as a garden border, they look okay if you're using them to border a larger bed as I've done. They are very effective at keeping bunnies from your favorite plants. I've also started using them to keep dogs out of my beds and they are effective, at least for the smaller dogs my neighbors let wander. I've not needed to use the as a no dig border but can see they would be effective for that use as well. At $64.99 for 25 panels, the price when I ordered, the price is competitive. ... show more

    • Works at Keeping rabbits from Digging and Tunneling

There are tons of fences like this to choose from, so my review is going to be more of a comparison from this product to others like it, as I've tried many of these fences. If you want to keep rabbits out (I do!), the Kyate Animal Barrier Fence will do the trick. The gaps between each of the little metal spikes is 1.5 inches across (measured and confirmed), which is narrower than what you will find on some similar fence panels. For me, this is a huge plus. It helps the fence be more effective and for me is worth a few extra dollars. The Kyate fence also is slightly wider than many of the panels I've tried - just by about an inch - and I think this is a plus as well. I don't have issues with dogs digging below the fence but can see that these would be effective - my parents have struggled with having to add board after board to the base of their fence to keep their neighbor's dog from digging but this would be an easier, more permanent solution. You will probably need a mallet to install because You may or may not be able to push the panels into the soil depending on your soil type without a hammer or mallet. My soil is hard packed clay and I don't need a hammer so long as it's rained recently. Otherwise I absolutely have to use a hammer on this type of panel. The spikes at the bottom are cut well - some of the similar fences I have received are extremely sharp and could easily cause injury. I was pleased to see these are cut just right for not scrapping arms and hands but for still going into the soil well. Aesthetically they are okay. My yard isn't going to win any awards on beauty for the fence panels but having flowers grow instead of being gobbled up by rabbits more than makes up for it ... show more

This item came with 10 panels, well packaged and ready to install. I have a few places in my yard that I want to keep pets and kids away from (oil changing tools, etc.) These fence panels provided a quick and easy solution. They are high enough to keep pets out, but low enough for me to step over. One side of the panel has a female end, and the other has a male. This allows you to quickly add more panels as needed, and also allows you to make turns and angles in your fence pattern. The bottom of the panels have pointed ends to allow the posts to penetrate into the dirt. I used a rubber mallet to get the panels installed and down low enough into the ground. It took me about a minute per panel to install. Great product, exactly what I was looking for. Recommend. ... show more

Since our rabbit population has grown in the past few years, to the point of being destructive to my flower garden, I have tried several brands of barrier fencing to keep the critters out of our yard. So far, these are the best for stopping the digging under the fence while still looking good. I put barriers along the fence line to keep rabbits outside of our yard. They hook together with a built in hook and clasp that makes them easy to install in a neat line so they don't draw the eye away from the flowers. Easy installation; just push into the ground deep enough to deter digging, catching the eye with the hook on the ends to provide extra stability. Other barriers are not as stable, or look as good, as I needed to use a wire tie to connect the pieces. Made of sturdy metal that doesn't bend when you press into the ground that is coated with a flat black paint. ... show more

    • Does a good job at what it is designed for

This animal control fence is designed for small animals and digging animals. It does a good job of controlling them. If you have issues with bigger dogs or jumping animals like cats, it probably won't help too much. I would guess small animals , smaller than perhaps a beagle dog, will be kept out of your flowers or vegetables. The fence is about 17 inches tall, and the lower parts that get forced into the ground are almost 9 inches, so do the math - even if you only push the wires in 6 inches, it will only be 11 inches tall. The wires are really close to 1/8 inch diameter, and are coated, and surprisingly rigid, due to the fact that there are so many in the ground - about every 1 1/4 inch. The ends are ground to a chisel point to make them easier to push or hammer in. This is also why animals won't likely dig under it, because they are so close to each other. I had no problems just pushing the fence panels into the soil in the Spring when the soil was fairly damp. So, It is really designed for a niche market, controlling a select group of animals, and doing that well. ... show more
