I needed something that would be; see thru (TSA), narrow (fit in toiletries bag) and would hold a scoop of my protein powder - these work perfectly for my needs. I plan to put one in my backpack to always have my protein, I've had WLS so I'm required to get 80 grams per day which is harder than you think without supplementing while also keeping calories down. I first looked at the standard protein travel containers, but, they take up a lot of space in my bag, these do not! They also work well for make up brushes and for my puppies treats. The tops screw on easily and appear sturdy. These arrived well packaged and each lid is protected from damage. I have way more than I "need" but I'm sure I can find more uses. I bought with the intention of using these tubes to store individual sets of polyhedral dice. The space in the tubes is perfect but the openings are significantly narrower and prevent the dice from being inserted or removed easily. They will not work for my needs, unfortunately.     • Perfect coffee portions

I saw those nice tubes you can fill with the exact dose of coffee beans. With a nice funnel and a stand. Gaaawd so pretty. But insanely expensive. I feel like they are milking the coffee enthusiasts with new overpriced gear. NOW I thought I can DIY that myself for a fraction. I found these nice tubes. 18g of beans fill this 2/3. You can do higher doses. I built my own funnel. Not pretty but it works and drilled a base from foam to make these tubes fit in a nice and orderly manner. It worked. I love them and I now have 15 tubes in a row of 3. 3 per day for 5 days. Then I refill. It looks great and for a fraction of the price. I discovered I am using the leftover tubes for all kinds of things. Pills for travelling, spices, I have some more expensive coffee for special occasions and I put that into some tubes and freeze them. Works fine. I find more and more uses for these and will probably buy another set. Only con: The lids can be dented so very easily. a tiny bump and you can see that.
