I didn't need these panels to attach to a fence, but we do have a problem with the shed at our cottage. "Critters" (mostly rabbits) dig holes to nest under the shed. There are also ground hogs in the area, and they can cause some damage when they move in, so I thought these might be a solution. I will take these two panels out and paint the bottom board black before putting them back. Then I'll use wood staples to hold the panels tightly to the board. They go down into the dirt far enough that I think this will alleviate our issue. The panels are sturdy enough to pound down with a rubber hammer (or a regular hammer, using a board along the top). The package also includes gloves, ties to attach to a fence, and a wire cutter. I didn't need any of those things, but they would be handy for other applications. I'm sure these panels could be useful in a number of ways -- certainly a good item for us! ... show more

Really pleased with these fencing pieces. I have three areas in my yard that need fencing like this. These sections aren't the tallest and therefore don't work the best for all applications, but they're pretty good for where I need them. I have a shed that sits above the ground with gaps about 9-12" off the ground. Rabbits like to get under the shed which makes my dogs want to dig to get to the rabbits. These fencing pieces are slightly too short to be a good deterrent. However, I can put them along the privacy fence (where they like to dig to get to our neighbor's dog) and they're almost perfect. The kit came with gloves, zip ties, and snips for trimming the zip ties. The metal pieces themselves are good quality. I do recommend wearing the gloves while you're installing the fence. Even though you're only pushing them in the ground, the vertical pieces dug into my hands pretty hard. Overall, really happy with these. Hopefully the bunnies can live in peace under the shed from here on out. ... show more

I have a split rail fence that has wire mesh running from top to bottom around the entire length. This is how I keep my two dogs contained in the backyard. Sadly, rabbits also want to enjoy the same fenced-in area in order to eat the abundant clover that is growing inside. I have nothing against rabbits, except my terriers want catch them. The two sides of my fence are on a slope, and there are multiple ways that the rabbits are able to slip under the metal wire fencing material. These metal panels can be used separately, or they can be joined together using the zip-ties provided. The manufacturer also provided gloves to use while placing them into the ground since the vertical stakes extend slightly above the top of the metal frame. In addition, there is also a zip-tie cutter provided if needed. The stake part of the fencing is 10 1/2" long which will help keep the fence pieces firmly in the ground. We finally got some rain in my area, and I was able to easily place these 10 panels into the ground. After checking my fencing, 10 panels will not be able to totally rabbit-proof my yard. But at least it may be a deterrent until I buy some more. ... show more

I've an old fence and a few rabbits have started making their way through it. I can't change the fence just yet as I've other priority projects and am trying to patch it as much as possible. These no dig fence pieces are doing a good job in keeping those rabbits away. Though they are making new entrances but it is getting harder and harder for them. Thankfully these fence come in a set of 10 pieces so I've few spare to fill in new gaps the rabbits make. This is a temporary solution though, I know ultimately I'll need new fence but in the meantime, these are very helpful. ... show more

I recently installed the mini fence no dig panel, and they've been as advertised. The panels are easy to set up without the need for digging, making the process quick and hassle free. I do recommend a rubber mallet for easier install. Despite their small size, they are sturdy and do a good job of creating a defined border. I cannot attest to the dig proof prospect of this fence yet. But this is a sturdy little fence to edge in a small garden bed. It is short, so if a bigger dog really wanted to get in, it could probably just step over it. I went and installed this fence right after a nice hard rain, I utilized the gloves included in the kit, to protect my hands while pushing it into the still somewhat firm soil. But the gloves were amazing, and spared my hands any discomfort. This kit has everything you would need to install a small garden fence, from the fence panels, to gloves, zipties, and cutters to shorten the ties! I used to cutters to cut the strap binding the panels together in shipment, it cut easily, so I know it would cut the zip ties readily. I have yet to use the zip ties to bind the panels at the corner, because mosquitoes have taken my yard hostage. That being said it's held the odd little shape with ease. I used all but 2 panels. I might add those 2 panels later to make the bed a bit bigger after I add more flowers. All in all a nice little fence/edging. ... show more

These are primarily for preventing dogs and small critters from burrowing under your fences, when placed right up against the base of your existing fence. They can also be used as borders around raised garden or flower beds, but aren't sufficiently tall to prevent the critters from just jumping over. Update - after a week outside and several days of rain, the fence panels are starting to rust where the metal bars intersect. ... show more
