The media could not be loaded. This worked the first two times and after charging now it will not stop. It’s supposed to turn on in water and then come off out of water… this is a huge disappointment. Don’t have the box anymore or if return this in a heartbeat. Also, unscrewing two small screws every time to charge is super annoying. Despite the housing it is still not waterproof either. UPDATE: I have to say, I’m very pleased with the customer service. I bought this fun Gigilli Whale Bath Toy for my 14 month old to hopefully get her more curious and less fearful of spraying water. This is my honest review of the product. The toy looks exactly as pictured, super cute, a good price, has a fairly quiet motor, and an easy to access off/on switch. The charger port is behind a screwed on panel which is a little annoying to get to but the battery life is excellent and I haven't needed to charge it after many MANY uses. This worked to help get me kiddo a little less fearful of spraying water (she hates showers so we wanted her to get used to water spraying on her head/face and this helped). The colored lights are a cute added bonus. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this as a bath toy. We also use it with her in the kiddie pool and she loves it! I got one for each of my boys. I love these bc they are so fun and keep the kiddos entertained…and as long as you don’t fill the tub too much, they can’t spray the water past the edge of the tub! As soon as they pick it up, it stops spraying water…perfect!

    • Defective Item. I urge you to read BEFORE you waste your money on this item.

The media could not be loaded. The item arrived packaged well with a charging cable. I charged the bath toy before use, and it worked well the 1st time. I took the bath toy out of the water, dried the toy with a clean dry rug, and let it air dry until the following evening. The bath toy worked for 5 minutes and then it stopped. I placed the bath toy on the counter to let it air dry, and it randomly started making motor sounds and the lights turned on by itself. It’s only suppose to do that when it’s IN the water. At 1:30am, the toy still on the counter, it started lighting up again and making motor sounds, it did it again at 2am, 3:35am and so on, my husband has to finally remove the motor so the toy completely stopped. Clearly it’s DEFECTIVE. BEWARE, Amazon LIES. It says on here that this item can be replaced or returned. However, 3 customer service representative and a supervisor told me that a replacement was not eligible for this item, and that the only way for me to receive my refund of $12 was to return the item first and wait 15-30 DAYS for a refund! It’s absolutely ridiculous. Their policy is UNREALISTIC. Do not waste your time and energy asking for the Amazon escalation team, they blame “the system”, and won’t take any responsibility to genuinely help you out. And the seller who is a third party seller didn’t bother to reach out to me and offer a replacement. Amazon has become a TERRIBLE marketplace, and their policies are unreasonable, representatives don’t offer more than a return label and say no to everything. Supervisor lacked common sense on this situation and was unhelpful. I’m ending my Amazon prime that I had for 10 years, because this is awful customer service across the board. ... show more
