I bought this telescope for my family. Our kids and I are novice We live pretty out there in the woods so we get a great view of the sky. First the telescope came in a storage/carrying case and was pretty easy to take out with its tripod. What amazed us was the 3 eyepieces in one that was easily rotated. Didn't have to remove any eyepieces like our last telescope. My little ones loved it when we focused in on the moon. The highlight was the smartphone adapter which really interested our teenage son. He attached his smartphone to the telescope and we were able to see through the camera in big screen and the kicker...we were able to take pictures and video everything we looked at.     • It's a Telescope!!
My whole life I wanted a Telecope. My first trip out to a star gazing sky I found Saturn! I didn't have time to install the cell phone mount to take a picture. There are no words to describe what seeing a planet through a telecope can feel like. The best I can do is tell you I had chills from head to toe. Thank you for this great Telescope! Not too impressed with this purchase. It definitely works, but the quality isn't there. It seems cheaply made and very difficult to get a good look through it since the stand is so flimsy. If you touch it at all while looking through, you get a blurry image because it isn't steady. The zipper broke the first time I closed the case as well. The first photo that is too bright was taken using the telescope and attachment for the phone. The second picture with better quality is using just my galaxy note 20 ultra. You can see that the zoom/quality on my phones camera is better than this large telescope. The phone attachment is horrible and just falls off. It was also difficult to attach and wouldn't support the weight of my phone. Definitely not worth the money. ... show more

    • Difficult to use but customer service made it better
Instructions are, well bad. I've had 1 chance to try and use but to no avail. I guess your just supposed to know how to use a telescope. Updated 4/7/23....……this is a nice scope. The carrying case is great. Take your time saying it up. The only downfall is trying to look straight up is difficult.

The telescope looks very technological, easy to install and easy to operate; You have to point the finder at the moon before observing, otherwise you won’t be able to see it in the eyepiece. After aiming at it, you will see that the moon is unusually beautiful, the surface is full of pits and pits, the excitement at that moment is beyond words, the observation effect is very clear and powerful, and the scenery effect is great. ... show more

I really wanted to love this and had high expectations since the specs seemed better than other telescopes available at similar price points. I had a toy telescope as a child and honestly this one reminds me of it. It’s incredibly difficult to focus on anything because there is too much play in the tripod and the connection to the telescope. I can find a star in one lens, and if I don’t hold the telescope perfectly still when switching to another, I’ll lose it. It’s so difficult to keep in place I can’t even imagine trying to show someone else a view through it since it doesn’t stay put. I thought for the price, since I’ve seen some available for $70, that this would be a little easier to use but I’m disappointed. ... show more
