Description

Born in 1503, the mysterious medieval visionary, Michel de Nostredame aka Nostradamus predicted the rise of Hitler, the nuclear destruction of Hiroshima and the 9/11 attacks. Now his quatrains are predicting our immediate future and it would seem the end times are truly upon the world. According to the new interpretations, Nostradamus predicted that a mighty Islamic army of terror will rise up and set in motion World War III. China will conquer the entire East and much of the the globe, and then a complete collapse of technology will spin the world into chaos like never before as the Antichrist rises in the West. Explore the prophecies and decide for yourself.

  • Misleading hack job of a movie
I would like that 68 minutes of my life back. It was misleading and ultimately the whole purpose of the film was revealed in the last ten minutes, said purpose being that all religion is idiotic. The filmmakers were dishonest about their claims regarding religion, and didn’t even really try to prove their point about that. They just made a bunch of silly and insulting generalizations and then ended the movie. Very sloppy bait-and-switch tactics by some obviously angry filmmakers, who should maybe find different jobs. ... show more

  • Painful
That dull, boring, plodding, and painful to get through. Not at all what I was expecting based on the 2020 in the title. It was anti-Nostradamus and proved nothing. The narration was done in a hypnotic monotone and the music was annoying and added nothing to the film.

  • Informative until the preaching began.
Laying my cards on the table, I have always thought the idea that Nostradamus could see the future was kind of silly, largely because you never hear of his believers credibly warning of a specific catastrophe BEFORE it happens...though Nostradamus supposedly predicted it centuries ago. I thought the doc was informative and objective until the last 10 minutes or so when it started to rail against religion by lumping that into "the occult" and then spouting the atheist talking points along with the plea to bow down to "science". Ruined it for me, though it was informative if slow paced for the first 4/5. ... show more

  • Ironically, Writer is a Victim of the Very Thing He Hopes to Help Others Overcome!
Cut out the last 10 minutes of this film, and speed up the pace of the rest of it—which is unnecessarily drawn out—and it is actually a very useful and productive film to help people who might otherwise waste their precious life looking too deeply into something that has never provided anything of clear value to the world. I say cut out the last 10 minutes because it is laughably ironic and sort of sad and unprofessional. At that point, the author, after quite calmly and professionally demonstrating how bias, cultural perspectives, and the incredibly vague and cryptic language of the so-called prophecies of Nostradamus can lead people to see and believe whatever they want to see and believe in these “predictions” (which is absolutely true), demonstrates a most unprofessional and emotionally-charged shift in his tone and language. Suddenly, his own dark, bitter, cynical and hate-filled perspective announces his own atheistic faith with “the world is full of lies.” He is very emotional at this point, showing us the mind is no longer making his decisions for him. Calling people stupid now and even cursing, so blind is he to his own emotional perspective and bias, yet thinks he is the rational one. The irony: everything he says at this point blindly spewing forth from his own bias and prejudice and cultural perspective where he sees only what he WANTS to see because of what he WANTS to believe to be true regarding religion, metaphysics, and prophecy. The same accusations he hurls rightly at believers in Nostradamus whose devotion has no solid foundation because these predictions have never actually predicted a thing, he spits at the religious and the metaphysicians of the world whose holy books contain actual verifiable and clear predictions of many things, provide incredible psychological insight and wisdom for everyday life, and from whom his own religion of science sprang and still draws power from today. God created science and is the Ultimate Scientist because science is just another path that leads to Him and helps us know Him better. His own mystics and devotees established the foundations of modern science and medicine. He says prove it, and we say follow the teachings and you will see for yourself they are true and you will know God is. But he is already too deadset in his own bias to surrender to any spiritual scientific experiment such as this. And it is not because he is thinking from the mind as he supposes; his rage-soaked words right at the end tell us it’s all emotion doing the thinking for him on this topic. The mind has checked out. But if he were a metaphysician or even a religious man, he would know that emotions don’t think. The mind is the Kingdom Within. The mind is the key for it is the navigator of the soul. Thanks for making an excellent film to help break the undeserved and unearned mesmerism and devotion to Nostradamus, but you haven’t really studied enough of the genuine religious and metaphysical teachings of the world to qualify to make pronouncements on their validity and power with even the minutest of authority. Nostradamus is in no way a representation of true religion and metaphysics. The last 10 minutes are unworthy of this film’s otherwise sound quality, and unworthy of you. ... show more

  • The commentator is wrong
This documentary is trying to prove Nostradamus wrong of his predictions. Don't waste your money. Plus a word of warning and advice. Pay attention to your surroundings. What the great searer viewed are the things that are written in the book of Revelations, Daniels, Hosa, Ezekiel, so will he call the prophets of ancient time a liar as well? Those of you who has an ear hear what the ancient ones has written. Keep watch and always remember death is isn't death it's the falling away of a host that can no longer HOUSE YOU, YOUR spirit soul have be set free. in hence to return to it's origin ... show more

  • What bother with the movie
The whole movie was about tearing Nostradamus down-- really what was the point.

  • Great until the end, wrong about Christianity
The video is dead right about the writings of Nostradamus but dead wrong about Christianity, (religion). Many prophecies in the Bible have come true. The Bible predicted the return of the Jews to the holly land which happened in 1948 when Israel became a nation. That's just one example, there are many more in the old and New Testament yet to be fulfilled. ... show more

  • Misleading title-deserves half a star
Want to debunk a dead guy; change the title and put that in the description. Want to slam religion, change the movie title and put that in the description. Don’t hide what the movie is really about and waste my time. All I wanted was to see if there were quatrains about murder hornets or Covid-19. Shame on the filmmaker. There’s already enough smoke and mirrors in the world. ... show more
