Bought these to prevent my Aussie shepherd from trying to dig and get to my neighbors dog. Both dogs are meeting at the bottom of pvc fence and trying to dig under, both protective of their yard. Last year my neighbors dogs was digging and my dog was able to bite their dog. Broke my heart so I purchased these and put them along fence. Just yesterday my dog was at it again trying to get under fence where their dog was also digging. These bars prevented my dog from getting to their dog. Worked so well that I gave my neighbor two panels to also put on their side of the fence for double protection. We were going crazy trying to find a solution to be able to let dog out without constantly being right there. The panel is strong and has not budged even with the digging. I hammered these into the ground using a soft hammer around the base of my chicken enclosure to give added protection from digging predators. They are very nice looking and solid. With this fencing along with bricks and the steel mesh that I embedded in the ground, I rest easy that I have adequate protection to keep predators away from my flock. Bought these to keep some pesky groundhogs out of my garden. They installed easily and so far seem to be doing the job. I installed them along the fence line. My garden is thriving. Just make sure to use a rubber mallet when installing or protect the surface with a towel when installing. I hit a couple with a regular hammer and the paint chipped easily. ... show more

    • Don’t hammer in hard ground
Works fine but welds break when hammered. Recommend wetting ground then hammering in with piece of wood same length. I hammered on alternating vertical spikes and broke off welds.
