  • Primerless to Glass Urethane - Primer to cover any scratches or for application on bare metal or freshly painted surfaces.
  • BETASEAL U-418 is crash tested to a minimum drive away time see chart in photos (FMVSS 212). Please consult fixed glass installation guide for more details.
  • *Professional Use Product* prior use of this product is required - failure to adhere to guidelines may result in improper installation which may include: leaks, air noises, or even serious injury. Seller highly recommends using a certified automotive glass technician.

I like that it came with the tips, one already having a V cut in the tip. I put the tube in a box with a whole big enough to push a hair dryer in the hole to heat it up before use and it worked great and flowed perfectly.

Just finished my 2nd window project using this product and its cousin U-428. First one was resealing a motorhome driver and passenger side windows. The current one was resealing a boat's windshield that replacement rubber seals were no longer available. This stuff is very tough once cured but it is somewhat hard to work with since it is so messy. It sticks to everything it touches which is a good thing but it also sticks to everything you don't want it to. ... show more
