Many cooling holes and water cooling systems provide excellent heat dissipation capacity to prevent the engine from burning out after a long time of use.
  • High Quality Material2-stroke 18-horsepower long-shaft outboard engine is made of solid aluminum alloy. The manual start function allows you to easily operate by pulling the start rope and opening the speed switch on the handle. Its long anti-slip handle (20 inches long) is easy to grasp. The red stop button allows you to press for a few seconds to stop the engine.
  • Flexible SteeringThe outboard engine has forward gear, neutral gear and reverse gear as well as 360 degree steering function, which allows you to flexibly control the direction of the ship. Continuously variable speed and constant speed cruise function enable you to easily adjust the driving speed and stable constant speed navigation, bringing you a more comfortable user experience.
  • ApplicationThis outboard motor is applicable to small ships of different materials (less than 4.9 feet in width and 19.7 inches in length), such as inflatable boats, iron boats, plastic boats, fiberglass boats and wooden boats. It is widely used in fishery, aquaculture, outdoor exploration, etc. The maximum load of outboard engine is 2204 pounds to meet different requirements (the heavier the load, the slower the speed).
  • Gear Oil Filling MethodThere is a screw on the gear box, unscrew the screw to add gear oil. Each outboard engine is filled with gear oil before leaving the factory, so it does not need to be refilled for the first time. After that, add it according to personal use and check it every ten hours.

I’m running this engine on my 9’ RIB and all I can say is wow. Starts on first pull every time. Top speed of 24 mph but on that little boat it feels much faster. If your sitting the fence on buying one… get off the fence and pull the trigger. You won’t be disappointed.

These outdoor Motors are the expired older versions of the Yamaha 15 horse the book itself tells you the 18 horse is actually a 15 horse but there's nothing wrong with these outboards cranks first pull every time runs great dependable best outboard you can buy for the money

Outboard came almost a week earlier than expected. Motor started on the second pull and runs perfectly. MAKE SURE YOU ADD LOWER UNIT OIL. The motor came with none and no warning about it. The media could not be loaded. I was a little nervous ordering this motor because of how little reviews and content their is about it on the internet. Decided to take a little risk and ordered the motor. It arrived alot quicker than estimated. Package and its contents arrived in good shape. I added lower unit gear oil and mixed gasoline and 2 stroke oil to the manufctures recommended ratio of 25:1 for the initial 10 hour break in period. Motor started on the third pull and the idled really well. Will keep you updated as i continue the break in process ... show more
