I am 5'2" and the length hits right above my ankle. slit comes about knee length on me, if you are taller it may be different. The material is soft and comfortable. Who doesn't love pockets in a dress? This dress is okay as far as size goes, but it is not a maxi dress. I'm 5' 10" and regular maxi dresses are still long on me, this is more of a midi length. And those pockets we all love, they do not hit where they should. Unless I put my hands in them and pull them down, which stretches the dress, they are at my rib cage. I am really happy with this dress. I love the long length, but the high slits make it super comfortable and not constraining at all. The pockets, of course, are everything in a dress. The dress is basically a long t-shirt. For me this is lounge-wear, sleep-wear, or running errand's-wear. I wouldn't try and dress it up because it's definitely looks more casual, like a tee-shirt. I'm normally in between a large and an XL. This dress seems to run bigger. I could've gotten a medium and it would've looked a bit more form fitting and not as "moo moo ish". It does come with pockets, which is always a plus. The material is lightweight and comfortable. I would repurchase but in a medium.
