Works perfectly out of the box with Project64. It feels well built and all of the buttons are very snappy (even the d-pad). The control stick is smooth and the range seems pretty accurate. Really can't go wrong getting 2 for the price.

Works well with Project 64 on the PC. My only issue is both controllers have joysticks that pop off. It still works but if you make turns in racing games it will pop off. I was playing Wave Race 64 and this happened. Does anyone know if buying a replacement joystick works on these?

Everything works good and well on pc. All that's needed is mapping. On switch, C-Up and C-Right get hijacked for other purposes, the home button, and the emulator menu button. They cannot be remapped. That said, if those are not needed (Like not much needed in Super Mario, can't think of any others) it's a great controller to use. ... show more

Was looking to get back into some old school gaming and while the system is amazing, the controllers for the N64 are hard to emulate on a regular old controller. HOWEVER you can fire up Goldeneye and get that four way arena match going because these are almost IDENTICAL to the real thing. The noticable difference is the weight of the controllers compared to yesteryear. Beyond that, they work like a charm. Will be getting a second set soon enough! ... show more

    • Don’t work on Switch for N64 online
These work, but the button setup for using on a Nintendo switch is incorrect. Not the controller’s fault I’m sure but was disappointed none-the-less. Of looking for your computer they’re great. Don’t buy for consoles however….

If you're too impatient to wait Nintendo to release more classic 64 controllers, these will do just fine, for the most part. What I mean by that is that START acts the central start button taking you to the Switch home menu. C+up is your new in-game start, and C+right is your new suspend menu. If that's fine with you for the games you play, it'll be a great way to stick it to the scalpers while we wait for the official thing to come out. ... show more
