Well, the privacy feature of these screen protectors certainly works; you can see the screen yourself just fine if looking straight down at it but cannot see it from an angle or the side. However, it does not curve and cover the sides/edges of the phone at all like it is advertised to and does a crappy phone of protecting the screen altogether. I dropped my phone face down less than two feet from the ground and my screen is destroyed. My actual phone screen is cracked worse than the screen protector itself - and I had both an Otterbox case as well as this screen protector on it. ... show more

    • It's not as sturdy as advertised.
I liked the fact that there are no bubbles on or after installation. However, what I don't like is that within one week of installation, the damn thing has cracked like an earthquake. I'm really not satisfied with product. I'm sorry I cannot recommend this to anyone. Very, very disappointed.

Alright so I expected this screen protector to cover the entire screen when I purchased it. It clearly is advertised to do so if you take a look at the pictures of the product. Sadly there are slivers of the screen visable from the sides and it is quite noticeable due to the fact that the screen is mostly dark when you turn in to the side due to the privacy screen feature haha.. That being said, I've not owned a privacy screen before, though have seen other phones with them and thought it would be cool to try. Although, unless you are in a brightly lit area which already makes it hard for you to see what's on your screen. It does not make much private. I would advise against using it in the shower as the water gets trapped under the screen and makes using the phone impossible. If removing the screen protector to dry the screen. Remove from the side to prevent breaking. When putting the screen on I reccomend doing it with the case on, because the case may not fit afterwards if placed incorrect. Overall. It does the job as a screen protector, though it makes the screen darker, and prohibits me from using my phone in the shower. And doesn't really make much private. I have to turn my phone almost a full 40⁰ for it to blur out text. But even then does. Not hide details. Sensitivity is decent. But again, does not hide the screen say from someone sitting next to you in class or next to you on the bus. ... show more

    • CANNOT ENDORSE THIS PHONE HOLDER
This cell phone holder seemed like a good idea. The price was very reasonable. But, my wife and I are returning them both for several reasons which you may wish to consider. These holders mount easily onto your rear-view mirror. They hold on very tightly. That's the good. My wife cannot use her holder. Her vehicle has an electronic mirror. It features auto-darkening (which I believe is the same as the old Chromatic mirrors). But her mirror also includes several front facing buttons, which turn the mirror on/off as well as function as a universal garage door opener. The problem is the mounting bracket of the phone holder presses tightly against the front of the mirror, thus pressing against the buttons. This results in blocking the buttons, rendering them useless, and by pressing tightly against them, the buttons will be damaged if the mount is allowed to remain secured. My vehicle has a standard cheap rear-view mirror with the simple day/night toggle switch on the bottom. So, mounting to my mirror is not a problem. However, two other issues resulted. One, my phone was dropped three (3) times as I attempted to secure my phone. My phone is new. I don't wish for it to be broken. Secondly, with the holder in the 'down' position, and the phone attached, it interferes with the driver's forward view. This may not be a problem with every vehicle, but it was quite obstructing in my car. Also, two other points of concern. One, each time I attempted to secure my phone to the holder, I would move the mirror out of position. I also noticed I was pulling on my rear-view mirror, pretty hard, to secure my phone. I do not want to risk yanking the mirror off the windshield altogether. Those mirrors are a pain to re-attach, believe me. Secondly, if I were to keep the phone holder, I'd require longer USB phone charging cable and that cable would be dangling basically from the rear-view mirror all the way down to my dashboard USB port. I can only imagine myself being distracted by the dangling cable, or worse, accidently yank on the dangling cable and maybe break my phone or distract myself further, possibly risking a traffic accident as a result. Thank goodness for this privacy screen protection. I had to buy this set of 2 bc I shattered the 1 on my fone caused frm a hard drop. So glad I had this protector. Thank you!

    • Not worth it
The privacy part of this screen cover worked..mostly. Like other reviews mention, there is a gap between the edge of the screen cover and the phone case I had on. I'm sure it is there to make sure a case doesn't tug off the cover, but I found it annoying. It was also more difficult to push things on the screen, as it felt like there was a gap between the screen of the phone and the screen cover. The worst part and final straw for me was that the adhesive, which is the entire length of the phone on the left and right side. The cover made it so I could not use the upper left side of my phone. For example: - the "+" on Chrome - the 3 bars on the left side of Amazon's mobile home page to access Orders, Lists, etc. I have since removed the screen cover, cleaned the screen excessively, and have gained a little functionality back, but not completely, and it's still frustrating that it seems to have permanently disabled that portion of my screen. The instructions it came with were not very detailed, so I'm not aware of there being any way to have avoided that. I cannot recommend this product as it was annoying when it was on (although it provided a level of privacy from certain angles, and annoying even after it's been removed. ... show more
