In theory, this screen protector shouldn’t be nearly as strong as the screen on the Apple Watch Ultra itself so it may not be necessary but I see it as cheap insurance. I chose this particular one because of the alignment tray. I’m pretty picky and having a crooked screen protector just won’t work for me. I started the install process by washing my hands and cleaning my Apple Watch Ultra with Dawn Dish soap. I dried it with a clean cloth and followed the instructions inside the package to wipe the screen with the wet and then dry wipes. From there, I held my breath (literally) and used the dust remover sticker provided to make sure the screen was completely clean. I peeled off the protective film on the screen protector and applied it to the watch. Use your thumb to press down hard and work out any air. Then hold the protector on with one thumb and peel the applicator off carefully with your other hand so you don’t lift the protector off. I chose to do this on the counter rather than wearing the watch while installing. It looks spectacular and you can barely even tell I have a screen protector. I’d even say it looks better with it on because you can’t see the seam between the screen and the body of the watch as much. For a 2 pack for $7… I’m impressed! Note: I’ve seen other reviews saying the protector didn’t adhere properly to their screen. They likely did something wrong during the install process. Likely their watch screen wasn’t completely clean. I do not foresee myself having this problem ... show more

These protectors work well. They prevent you from scratching or cracking your screen and pretty slim so they don't add much bulk to your watch. The only downside is that they do fall off fairly easily. I have hit my wrist on things and the screen protector falls off.
