The media could not be loaded. This assembles super easy! My 12 year old had it set up in minutes. I love that the light has an on/off switch on the cord so it’s easy to access. The filter works well and isn’t overly loud. I’m letting the water condition for a few days then I’ll add a fish. I’ll update the review as needed but so far, so good!     • Pumps not doing much
The tank itself is nice for a small tank. Holds water well and it looks pretty nice. The included pump I am not sure how much use it’s going to be so far from testing it out. It’s not really doing much. I’ll keep messing with it and see if I need to replace the pump out for a different one.

    • It's really a pretty nice little package for like a first tank, it's just a shame its so small.
So I will start with saying that I am new to fish tanks/aquariums. That said, to me this seems like a pretty decent value and an overall good item, with the slight exception to that statement being that it's just really a bit small for much of any fish. As far as the items quality of materials, it's pretty nice, the glass feels decently strong and I really like that the front piece is curved rather than being flat with seams. Where there are seems they seem to be well covered with silicone or whatever type of sealant it is they use for fish tanks. It was very easy to assemble, and came with a pump/filter and light, the instructions for which were pretty straightforward (though the items shown in the product assembly video included on the instructions were slightly different than the items I received, the instructions still worked without any issue.) Priced at 35 dollars when I received the item I am really tempted to say this is a great way to get into keeping a fish, with one small caveat being, this tank is only two gallons and fairly tall - which means it's a really small tank, and there wont be much room for any fish to swim horizontally. You will have to decide for yourself how much space you think your fish needs, but to my personal opinion - this probably won't cut it for much in the way of a fish, even a tiny one - but I could see recommending it as like a holding pen or auxiliary tank for uses other than the main habitation of a fish. ... show more

    • Pump does not work
The pump is not working. I need a new 1. It is too much money to send this back so I am hoping that I can get a pump replacement.

    • Good light
The light works as a heater due to the small size of the tank. The filter is easy to put together. Added some sand and some plants and it made a cute habitat for a beta.

    • Not packaged well.
This is a nice little fish tank for the price. However, it was not packaged very well. The internal parts, such as filter and light bar, were just loose inside of the tank, getting jumbled around inside. As a result the light bar was severely broken, with shattered pieces all throughout the tank..

This is a very good 2 Gal tank kit, the tank is nicely designed with rounded smooth edges and the lights that came with it are very nice and adds a good natural element. The filter system and the pump is 2 in 1 and although the filtration works but it isn’t very strong but in a small setup like this it’s doing a good job. The pump is very powerful and it is not a good thing and with even the tightest option it is still too much for the size and causing a strong current I had to bend the tube a little and work around it to adjust the strength. The tanks seems solid and looks really cute we have 2 fish and 2 live plants and all doing great so far. Our kids love it as well ... show more
