    • Not Worth Its Weight in Gold but in Price

So I bought this ring at Daniel’s on sale for $2599 (orig. $6000). Got home and found it on Amazon for less than 1/2 the price for the exact 2 carat on white gold. I ordered it to compare it to my ring. Here are the differences: this ring has 4 supporting diamonds on either side of the main 3 stones, while the ring from Daniel’s has 5. Their ring has 16 diamonds on each side of the band while Daniel’s has 13. This ring has less gold on the band giving the appearance of being a slightly smaller ring and lighter. All in all, I returned my ring from Daniel’s since I was still within my 10 day return policy because the price difference was not worth its weight in gold. I felt the same appreciation for my new ring but happier because I saved more money. I love my ring and will always compare local jewelry stores to vendors on Amazon before I committing to buying anything. ... show more

I love my ring!! I was concerned the photo made it look larger than the stones would actually be (especially for the price). But when I got it, it was VERY flashy and shiny/sparkly (can't miss it, basically). I asked my mother "It's almost TOO flashy!". I took it to a jeweler and they checked out the stones and the band - everything was legit. Can't be too careful :) So, if that's a concern, as it was for me, it's real. Not the highest quality, but for me: I can't tell a difference between this and someone's $10,000 ring (which is crazy, is my opinion). ... show more

Love the ring and so does my wife. It was an upgrade I gave her for our 28th anniversary and she freaked out and absolutely loves it. Sizing was off so I contacted seller hoping to get an exchange rather than get it resized to keep the integrity of the ring but got no response from seller. That’s the only reason for the 3 stars. Has they even sent an email apologizing for not be able to do it I would have given a better review. Love the ring, seller won’t respond to contact. Buy knowing this seller doesn’t look to sell you more in the future only get your money and hang you out to dry… I’m highly disappointed they didn’t respond. It’s been over a month and I’ve contacted twice and nothing. Even checked email and junk mail on top of my amazon messages and nothing. ... show more

If you're looking for top graded (color/clarity) diamonds, this isn't your ring. One nationwide, mid-level department store sells this exact ring for $6,195.00 regular price, with an average sale price of $1,700.00, not including additional discounts. All diamonds are very securely set. There's a significant amount of rhodium plated white gold in this hefty ring. It is sizable by a reputable jeweler; if you have it sized, rhodium plating at the shank will cost a bit more, but isn't strictly necessary. When Amazon dropped its price to a small fraction of regular retail, I placed an order. The diamonds in my ring are approximately one grade above the color and clarity listed on the web page description. Not all will be that way, but Amazon has free returns if you aren't happy.
