I tried not to like these shoes, but I can't deny it any longer. I like them a lot. I had never heard of this brand before, so I was hesitant to order, but because I have a wide foot, I was attracted to the wide toe box and thought I'd give them a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed was that the uppers and sole are both thick and stiff. I thought I wouldn't like it, but on my feet, they don't feel as thick as they do off my feet, so I could check off this objection. Next, the bed felt very hard to my hand and while sitting down, but when I stood and walked, it was magically spongy, like walking on cork or padded linoleum, so another fear was knocked down. Last, the arch was very high, much higher than I'm used to, and there was some kind of lump right in front of the arch. Of course, it was uncomfortable at first, and I thought I would need to put different insoles in the shoes, but after hours of wearing them around the house, those concerns evaporated, and my feet actually felt so good when I pulled them out of the shoes, like they'd had a light massage in there. I should disclose that I am a woman, who normally wears a women's 8.5W or 9W, and these shoes fit me almost perfectly. Okay, these shoes are never going to win a fashion award for beauty. BUT, if you have a day of standing on concrete for hours ahead of you, they will be your go-to shoe and you will bless the day you bought them. You just sink into the squishy, supportive comfort the minute you put them on, and they quiet your barking dogs the rest of the day. They are well made of quality materials and superbly designed to alleviate foot fatigue and stave off the shooting pain of plantar fasciitis by cushioning the impact of every step you take. There are inserts included to ensure you get the proper fit. I got these for a family member with every food problem known to man, and he couldn't wear them because of his hammer toes. So I tried them on and instantly became a fan. If you have foot issues, these will be just the ticket--except for hammer toes, because the toe box is not tall enough to clear them. I'm really hard on shoes, even dress shoes, and when my current pair was at the end of it's life expectancy I got a pair of these '1TAZERO Wide-Walking Shoes for Men-Casual Dress-Sneakers' and I must say I'm very impressed! They're made of very nice leather and you can get them with laces or velcro closures. I got the velcro kind and I love the way they fit. I have very wide feet so having a shoe that accommodates them comfortably is a rarity. They look and feel durable and the design is just like the finer shoes I've seen. They seem expensive but to be honest I bought a pair of my usual shoes last year at almost the same price point and was glad to get them at all.     • Insole isn't comfortable and then insert is too much

Good quality to the shoes but the cork insole has some ridges which I think are meant to help with foot issues but they are uncomfortable and the provided insert pushes my foot up too high where even loosening the laces didn't work.

I'll start this off by admitting that I am VERY PICKY when it comes to purchasing shoes. I wear a size 13 and I need a medium to wide width. I rarely buy shoes online without having tried the brand before. Currently I only wear shoes from two major brands and it's not because of style snobbishness! No! What is important to me is: NUMBER 1 - comfortable and supportive fit in my shoes! So it was with much trepidation that I ordered this completely new brand and I was almost 100% certain that I'd try them on and immediately return them. Well, I was flabbergasted! This totally new brand of shoe fit me PERFECTLY, seems very well made and fits the "style" of shoe I normally wear (meaning: BORING!!!) I don't have particularly wide feet, but I always feel more comfortable in wide shoes. These shoes are top-quality from start to finish. I ordered these 1TAZERO Wide-Walking Shoes for my 16-year-old son with wide feet. We followed the size chart and ordered a size up to account for his wider feet and crooked big toes; however, we probably could have ordered this regular size because they are quite long and wide. He likes these shoes and says they are very comfortable. He especially likes the Velcro closures, as he's not that great with laces. Extremely comfortable and has a perfect fit. The toes do look kind of awkward with how wide they are since it seems like they bow out awkwardly (like a clown shoe) instead of just scaling up the shoe for a wider foot.
