My husband has really wide feet and I was having trouble finding she’s wider than those in the local shoe shops. I found these, they are wide, light, soft and comfortable, yet supports his foot in all the right places. These are his shoes for when we dress nice for going places, eating out, functions, etc. he wore these shoes on our vacation and we did a lot of walking and he said his feet did not hurt and he was able to walk more than usual. I am looking at more styles from this brand for everyday use. I highly recommend you read up on this brand, especially if you have diabetes and arch support problems. These shoes are the real deal. After a toe amputation 6 weeks ago I needed a shoe that would easily slide on the foot without bothering the surgery scar and still slightly swollen foot and ankle. This was my answer. Comfortable, wide toe box, easy on and off., gives stability to the foot and ankle. Nice looking shoe also. How can you beat the price, even if I get 6 months of wear. Comfortable and affordable. However, I did not rate it a 5 because the size listed is not accurate. I always wear a wide shoe size but this pair of a wide size is not wide enough. For this pair, I guess I should have ordered extra wide. So, keep that in mine if you need a wide shoe size.

My husband has wide feet with high arch. These shoes fit him very well. He said the material is comfortable on his toes and the arch is high enough to fit comfortably. We actually had issues finding shoes that fit him this well

These slip-ons are slightly lighter in weight and more flexible than the Nautica slip-on canvas boat shoes that I bought them to replace. However, they are no more breathable than the Nautica shoes, so my feet still feel hot when wearing either the Itazero or the Nautica shoes. These shoes slip-on and off relatively easily. The more square shaped toe of these shoes provides more room for my toes which is an advantage over the Nautica slip-on shoes which have a more rounded toe. I usually wear from a men's size 11 to 12 wide, depending on the shoe's toe shape, for a comfortable fit. Because of the extra width of the square toe, the Itazero size 11 X-wide that I ordered fit comfortably. However, it is not clear to me if I actually received the X-wide size since the tag on the shoe and the label on the shoebox lists the size as 11 without indicating X-wide. Nevertheless, the pair of shoes I received are just wide enough for a snug but not constricting fit in the width. Although the color is listed as black, the color of these shoes is actually a dark gray. The removable insole does not provide sufficient arch support and the other weird bumps on it just irritate the bottoms of my feet. The rubbery material of the insole's upper surface in direct contact with the bottoms of my feet makes them sweat. I replaced that insole with a Dr. Scholl's float-on-air insole which provides better arch support and which has a smooth more clothlike upper surface that is comfortable and does not make the bottoms of my feet sweat. Overall, these shoes are just OK, and it is good that the weird bumpy, rubbery arch support insole is removable because it is awful. I bought these on a lark. I have size 15 feet and it's not easy to find comfortable, attractive shoes. These are wonderful. So comfortable; so easy to slip on and off, and I get compliments all the time. Very glad I gave these a chance.
