The string is small enough to fit through holes in many different beads but not too thick, there's lots of string on the spool, and it hasn't broken once! Knots stay tied, but tie three just to make sure or else it may come apart.

Even the coolest kids will be delighted with this rainbow elastic. All the colors are great and they merge into the next beautifully. I prefer this type of elastic over the clear type--I can't seem to knot the clear ones as tightly as these.
