Bought these for our son's high-end outdoor lakeside wedding which was rose gold themed. I looked at reviews and was a bit nervous as some said it wasn't the right color but I think maybe they just don't know what rose gold looks like? They were absolutely beautiful, sturdy, and looked so nice people were afraid they weren't truly disposable! We got a ton of compliments! I would just suggest you buy additional cups (we bought 100 extra and wish we would have bought more) as people would lose theirs throughout the reception and go get a new one, and we ran out FAST. I liked these and they looked really nice. They silver was scratched up really bad on 1 of the 4 sets I bought and several of the cup were cracked. Every plate and cup looked a little rough. Luckily i had enough to put those aside and use as extra's. I would recommend you buy early and inspect so if they are damaged you can return for replacement. We had a loaded potato bar and the plates were sturdy and the whole setting looked nice. I have not complained to the manufacturer or ask for a replacement because I should have opened these before the wedding as to give them a chance to replace the damaged box. Also note the box was not damaged during shipping this was done on the manufacturing side. I think overall you will have a pleasant experience with this product. I needed these products for a party. They arrived as promised but when I opened the box I found the dessert plates had no cellophane wrapping. They were very scratched and had cardboard particles stuck to them. The dinner plates had wrapping that had been slit open and 1 plate was missing. The cups came in a separate box and 3 of them were cracked on the bottom. The napkins were fine. I reached out to Amazon that I had received damaged product and the only recourse was a refund. I couldn't receive other plates in time and all the local party supply stores were still closed. I had to use the plates/cups and had to wash them all first for peace of mind. I ended up throwing out 1/2 of them and washed the best ones. It was a ton of extra work and just gross overall. Waste of money and this was obviously a returned product. ... show more

My wife purchased these plates to use at our annual Christmas party. When she carried a couple of them to the kitchen to show me, one of them actually fell apart in her hand. I found that I was able to snap the plate in two with three fingers. As we went through the stack, some of them seemed fine while others were extremely brittle. There were even some that were broken in the stack. About half of them might be usable but that is being generous. There is no way that I would allow guests to carry hot food around my house in these so we threw the lot of them away. These serve the purpose for quick use or for show and tell. These are more decorative then usable because the plastic is not sturdy or strong enough for actual use. This is very inexpensive plastic and I wouldn't trust these with food because they are either going to break, the gold spray will come off in your food or the plate will bend with heavy enough food because it lacks durability.
