Description

Supplement your social studies curriculum with 180 days of daily geography practice! This essential classroom resource provides teachers with weekly geography units that build students' geography knowledge, and are easy to incorporate into the classroom. In a world that is becoming more connected and globalized, 21st century students must have the skills necessary to understand their world and how geography affects them and others. Students will develop their map and spatial skills, learn how to answer text- and photo-dependent questions, and study the 5 themes of geography. Each week covers a particular topic and introduces students to a new place or type of map. The first two weeks consist of a mini-unit that focuses entirely on map skills. For additional units, students will study various places, and how culture and geography are related. With a focus on US states, students will explore various types of maps including physical maps, political maps, topographic maps, thematic maps, climate maps, and various topics including scale, legends, cardinal directions, latitude and longitude, and more. Aligned to state standards and National Geography Standards, this resource includes digital materials. Read more

  • Homeschool Moms, these are A+++
I think we have every 180 days subject offered- as a new homeschool mom these workbooks are great supplement work for the kids and on days off, instead of doing nothing, they can work a page in these books - self guided.

  • Great for distance learning
Purchased this to use during virtual learning with my 4th grader. Love the material! Very informative and easy to understand for the kiddo. Lots of activities. With virtual learning being a hot mess, kiddo gets extremely bored during zoom meetings. So, we’ve got back-up with some books to continue his learning. ... show more

  • Great summer learning resource
This book has been a great tool to use during the summer to keep the wheels of learning turning for our soon to be 5th grader. The material is just enough (we complete one week each day M-F and take the weekends off). We usually complete each week in well under 15 minutes. I usually supplement each week with some sort of relevant YT video, and our kiddo has really enjoyed it. Great product! ... show more

  • Would HIGHLY recommend!
My 10 year old loves the layout of these books and I do too. We use the 180 Days of Science and Social Studies workbooks as well. I'm so pleased with this purchase! These workbooks are always one of the first suggestions when other homeschoolers ask about workbooks and/or daily work. 10/10

  • Great Curriculum Supplement
Awesome supplement to any history curriculum. It is age appropriate and can be differentiated depending on the ability of the child. I highly suggest purchasing as an add on or to be used as a component to any homeschooling curriculum.

  • Fantastic!
This book was better than expected. I didn’t realize it came with maps and a progress chart to see where your child is excelling and needs extra work. As a homeschool mom I highly recommend it!

  • Works very good as workbook! Works best as a review workbook.
Very short work sheets which work well for my daughter. With all the work she completed in a day, these are short and sweet and not overwhelming. However, I use this book more like a review since the stories are very short. I usually teach my daughter the subject with other books, worksheets, and this is an extra quick review. ... show more

  • Exactly what we needed
This workbook has exactly what we need for fourth grade. It's a well made workbook and I would buy it again for fifth grade.
