Kids use this to create their own fun water games/activities. Hey, and as a parent, I play along too. I will say that the small gems in this bag, keep them away from your drains or take those out all together and just get rid of them. The rest of the toys are great. Great for games to encourage diving to deeper depths based on THEIR COMFORT/SKILL levels. If they can hold their breath, great, if not, a parent needs to retrieve by diving themselves or use a pool net for cleaning to scoop them up. I was on an olympic swim team at the age of 5, so I have skill…but not every 5 yr old can do that. So be mindful of your swimmer’s capabilities at whatever age they are. Those gems are not safe for babies. Babies stick everything in their mouth, choking hazards. Be mindful of your purchase. I have teens+ who were practicing breath holding, while diving, FOR FUN!! My grand kids love this!! Out of all of the expensive pool toys I bought all summer… this has to be their favorite!! They play with something out of this group every time they are in the pool!! Money well spent. Quality was good for what it is. Buy it you will not regret it!!

There's a lot to love about this set - diverse diving toys, carry bag, a small beach ball to play with - generally awesome. The only thing I'll say is that the little plastic "jewel" toys (the turtle, dolphin, and shells) are really small and they don't sink. They are fine to play with in the sand or something at a beach or in the tub, but at a pool they don't really work. They're still cute and fun, though.
