Love it super cheap and easy to do and looks realistic next to my Barnwood headboard. I was afraid if I did real wood around the base, it would snag on sheets and comforters and things. This product was fairly easy to install on my can cupboard shelves. Great fit and looks nice. The paper has measurement squares on the back which allows one to cut easily to fit on your shelves. Looks beautiful. Highly recommend.

I’ve always liked wallpaper and became quite proficient at hanging it. Then one day “poof” and it practically disappeared. Slowly it made its way back into mainstream as peel and stick. Had to try it and ugh!..I hated it. Should be named for what it is—contact paper. However, deep down I’m an optimist and continued looking and trying. Then I found this and yes!...it is wonderful. It’s exactly what a wallpaper should be in a handy peel and stick package. The paper is that perfect thickness where it’s not so heavy that it’s falling off and not too thin that it shows every little imperfection underneath. The adhesive also hits that perfect balance where it sticks well while still being able to peel it back off and reposition, which I did a number of times. Truthfully though, I liked the pattern so much I purchased wallpaper paste fully intending to use it if the adhesive wasn’t adequate, but I never opened the container. I’m attaching a photo of the in-process wallpapering of my laundry room. Some helpful hints: * If possible, paint whatever you’re covering in the same background color as the wallpaper, and allow the paint to cure for at least 24 hours before wallpapering. * Take your time and be patient. This is most important with the first piece you put on since it sets the pattern—make sure it’s level. * Do use the tools available. There’s a great inexpensive (around $6 on Amazon) set available. I also find a 2” or larger scrapper for a straight edge and utility knife invaluable. * When starting a piece, pull back about 10” of the backing to start. I found this amount left it still manageable while allowing enough to lineup. After this I’d work in around 5” increments. Leave the backing paper on for as long as possible because if you have to reposition the paper you can pull it up and stick it on the backing paper again. * If you want the repeats in the paper to match, make sure you make allowances and order extra paper. I did not want the repeats to match and this wallpaper is forgiving enough in the pattern that it’s not obvious. * If hanging it horizontally, like I did, on a wall where it will meet the ceiling, save yourself a lot of frustration and do this: Cut a 1/2” strip of the wallpaper the length of your wall. Apply the strip to the wall where it meets the ceiling. Then apply your wallpaper. The strip will be much easier to apply and maneuver into any uneven areas and the wallpaper will adhere to the strip without any evidence of the overlay. Happy hanging. ... show more
