I like these, they worked for the custom earrings I'm making. But I want to give a warning to those who aren't sure if these are for them. The hooks seem like they're decent quality--a little thin, but that's okay. But the jump rings are absurdly tiny. The tiny jump rings also are not opened already, so you will have to bend them open yourself. If they were a normal size, that would be fine if they were a normal size. So be prepared to have them flung all over your work area while trying to grip on these little things. Additionally, I wound up having to add my own jump rings to use these. I don't know what kind of earrings you could use with the teeny tiny jump rings, but the loop where you attach the hooks would have to be SMALL. So I went hook > small jump ring > MY jump ring > earring. And after all that, I'm happy with the earrings I wound up with. ... show more

This is a great little collection of ear wires, fish hook style in a petite size that is great for anyone, but young people will appreciate them for sure. They are so comfortable on the ear. I was able to wear a pair of the earring all day with zero itching or discomfort. They are light weight, strong and a very nice color of gold. They definitely look nice. The jump rings are the same finish and they are shiny, smooth and very strong. The earring backs are important to keep from loosing your precious creations. They are new, soft and easy to push onto the wire without bending it or ruining the shape. All of the pieces are accounted for and arrived in good condition. I'm happy with this order and have enjoyed making a few pair of earrings to see how I feel while making jewelry with these findings. I enjoy it, they look great and are fun to work with. The color is a nice buttery, 14k gold finish, not cheesy or fake, obviously orange/yellow gold. It's a nice classy gold tone that is bright and shiny. Good value, and I am happy with the order. I make handmade earrings, and I would not want to give someone a product I would not use myself. My skin is sensitive to some of the metals they use in some costume jewelry, and these fish hooks do not irritate my skin. They look nice and classy. They are not simple "tube" or "pipe" shapes like some of the lesser jewelry findings. They have a flattened/tapered shape along the curve that looks more expensive. Along with the hooks themselves you also get jump rings and little silicone dealie-bobs that keep the earrings from falling off the card or your ear. The fish hooks and jump rings are great. The silicon backings are really tiny and, in my opinion, not completely practical, but they seem to be what everyone is using, so when in Rome... I am pleased with these fish hooks. ... show more
