The glass is very thick but not too heavy, I tend to break dishes I feel safe with these though. I didn’t realize they came with glass straws love that too! The cup design helps have a good grip and it’s cute!

I can say these are very strong, I have dropped them a couple times on hardwood and they didn't break. I have bigger glasses like this so I really like the style. We have washed in the dishwasher and it has been fine.
