Perfect fit for my 5hp Nissan/Tohatsu. It's pretty well built and sturdy enough tilt the engine with no problems. In a review someone had suggested finding a picture of one online to help with assembly. I would like to thank them! With the included directions and Picture it was pretty straight forward. It took about 30mins to put together. It fit easily though a standard door frame and the handle folds down for storage. You can turn the engine sideways and it fits against the wall nicely. Overall it's pretty nice. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I attached some pictures so you all can get an idea of the size. This outboard is about 50lbs. ... show more

Easy to assemble and the dolly works just fine, but it's a little more flimsy than I would like for my 9.9hp outboard which weighs about 100 lbs. I get a little edgy when moving.

    • Will work well with a 9.9 horsepower outboard. I would not push it to any larger size

It will work ok for my needs with the 9.9 size outboard I have. Its is just a lil wobbly. Just need to pay attention and don't try and go really quickly. Great for the price. Like that the handles fold down, convenient for needed room.

Don't follow the directions just look at the picture to assemble. It holds my Mercury 4hp with long shaft perfectly.
