It's nice but not as "balloon" looking as I'd like but...you be the judge. It's heavy and of decent quality! Unsure about tarnishing as I just received it and it's a gift. And I wish Amazon would stop using plastic bag shippers for delicate items!

My teen daughter ordered this necklace (K-Gold version) and wears it often, like 2-3 days a week. We were expecting it to be smaller, but were very happy it was larger than expected, it’s a great size for her. It’s big enough to get noticed, but not big enough to be obnoxious. The chain is sturdy yet looks delicate. It’s a very satisfying combination. There’s a bit of heft to the K charm too, doesn’t feel like coating plastic. Absolutely high enough quality to look much more expensive than it is. My daughter is picky, which means much of her jewelry winds up in lower drawers in her jewelry case, but this K necklace stays right on top. Kinda surprised how much she wears it. It goes with a lot of her "fits". It's packaged in a small plastic bag with a card backer, so if you're going to give it as a gift, you'll probably want to wrap it or put it in a gift bag first.
