I had to find a substitute for my sterling silver earrings as they were causing my ears to get irritated. I have been wearing these 14K white gold hoops for about a week now with no problems. Although they are a little delicate and I have to be careful with the clasps, they are light and comfortable. I didn't need to purchase an expensive pair for everyday use, so they work for me. These are pull apart latches rather than separate backs or a lift up mechanism. Wore them on the 10th time, and since the subbing is so light— it bent at the point of stress. Just bent in half and flung across the room. Way too thin.
