The little stakes are almost impossible to get on and installed without dropping off. Getting the little pegs to line up and stay joined is no fun..they need to be longer. I would not recommend this product due to poor quality control. Several of the sections could not be connected together due to the cross piece being cut too long which made it so post could not fit into the hole where they connect. This was not just on one piece but on several of them. It's too bad because they look nice for an inexpensive border. ... show more

Very annoying to put together, then trying to get into the ground without the bottom legs falling off. Had to wrap each one with painters, tape, and then push the leg on. Used many zip ties to keep together. I bought a set from another company where the legs actually screwed on and there was a nice s clip, Wish I would’ve spent more money and got a second set. I have recently decided to start showing my sadly ignored yard a little TLC. I dug up the weeds and grass in this one little corner and planted something more sightly. I edged it with these cute little fences, and as you can see (pictures above), it turned out really nice. The metal was strong enough and sharp enough to go into the ground the approximately 8 inches of the stake. In some spots it was more difficult than in others of course , and in one of those I had to push a little more to get it all the way down and it popped the end of one of the crossbars from the frame on one of the fence units. The rest had no problem with that. The stake part of the fence slides on to the bottom tines very easily. It makes the assembly a breeze, except that they don't stay on unless you hold both pieces together while you're marking where you want to place each fence piece. It also makes it so you can't connect them all before sinking the stakes into the ground. You have to do one fence section at a time. The result is nice, though, so I'm ok with that. The 13 feet of fencing was great. I chose this one because of that. Most of the little fences that I saw had only 10 feet in the set, so needing just a couple more feet means you have to buy a whole nother set, but not with this one. With this set you get a very generous amount of these. I ordered specifically because they are advertised as being good for keeping rabbits out of gardens. My review being 3 stars is solely based on that - these will do absolutely nothing to prevent rabbits from getting into a garden. The gaps are wide enough that full grown adult rabbits would have no trouble just walking right through! These do look nice and are decorative, but they will not deter animals. Bigger animals will be able to step right over these. These also don't stick in the ground very far so I question how well they'll stay in place, even if you have multiple of them attached together. I don't think it would take much to loosen these up with a mild bump. I do like that each one locks together with the next and that these can rotate around to go around a round flower bed or tree or something. So basically, if you need something for decoration around your garden or flowers, yes these would be great for that. If you need to keep critters out, these would not be great for that. ... show more

I liked that this had 13 feet in the product. I had a little bed that was more than 10' long, and so I thought this would be long enough to certainly cover it, and it was. The material is typical for these little fences, thin wire rod bent and spot welded as needed. Painted. I think the design is overly complicated. These come as two parts: the upper "fence" part you see, and a separate tapered "foot" or sleeve that you slide the upper fence part into. That's already one step over complicated and unnecessary, because the feet don't screw into the fence, or lock into it, they just let the little nubs of the fence slide into them. And slide out. Not very secure, at all, honestly. This also means that should you install the sleeve/feet and then decide in a day to move your fence... the fence will move, but you'll need some pliers or knife to dig out the feet/sleeves from the ground, because they stay behind. This further complicates things because you need two hand to hold the feet in place, and then one or two hands to work the complicated pin/sleeve mechanism on the upper part of the fence. You need to align perfectly too, or else your feet are out of place (and in the ground) or your pin/sleeve at the top won't align. To FURTHER complicate things, sometimes the cross bar of the fence is a little longer, and sticks out past the post it's welded to, right above the pin/sleeve area. This means you need to angle the pin portion in slightly, because at a perfect vertical, the cross bar blocks the pin from entering the sleeve. So, twist at an angle, then slide the pin into the sleeve, but don't forget to hold those sleeves on the feet, and get them in the ground perfectly straight and next to the other, and that's it. Now, repeat that 12 times. All that, and I still think if a dog hits it wrong, it's going to pop out of those sleeves, because there's nothing to secure them in. Maybe rust, in a few months, will glue them in. Lastly, it wasn't much, but the craftsmanship was a bit poor. I had one fence in the package already bent slightly on a lower cross arm, and two places where the cross arms were cut too short, and not welded to the frame. It's an acceptable fence, but way below average/competitors. Overly complicated, way too hard to assemble, and it didn't need to be that way. ... show more
