The book is completely worthless. It about the size of you hand and only shows basic stitches. NO PATTERNS IN THE BOOK TO MAKE ANYTHING. The decorated beads shown are a variety of designs. In the kit you only get one design, and the plain beads. However, everything looks like it is good quality so it's not a complete loss, and not a bad start to your supplies.
