I dont like to review things right away. There is no way to go back and rewrite or edit a review once it has been reivewed. I have been using cutting machines for years. I have 5 machines from Cricut to Silhouette Cameo. I purchased this in the black matte for a Jersey. I was adamant on buying this because no one had reviewed it on Jersey material. All I could see was that it said it was strechy vinyl. So I took a chance for the price. Sportflex and Thremal-Flim is so expensive. So many people complaining about how it weeds how it cuts and other things that I had no problem with. Most people are in a hurry, or is fairly new to cutting machines. I always cut every material I purchase on more pressure and maybe that is why I have no problems with most materials. I also do a test cut first to make sure I have propper settings for my materials. (Like a small square with a triangle, or a simple flower on the inside of the square). I keep notes on all materails I use. Everyone should realize that not all materials are the same as name brands. Anyways I made a Jersey in December it is now the Middle of April after tons of washes the HTV black matte vinyl is still holding strong. I had no problems weeding, settings were cut on more pressure. I used my Cricut Maker to cut this material. I first press the shirt alone for 10 seconds to remove any moisture then I put the image on the shirt. I had no problems pressing with firm pressure, at 325 degrees for 20 seconds. I did a hot peel and removed the clear film. I then turned the garment inside out and pressed for another 15 seconds as you should do for anything you are pressing. For those of you who are saying they waisted material always remember to do test cut and keep notes. I keep my fabrics that I mess up to use as test presses. It might be waisting time but in the end you will know your result of what cut, and temp you need to use. As everyones press is also different. And always remember to pre press for 10 seconds any moisture that is in the material will make the vinyl not stick to the fabric. It might look as if the fabric does not have moisture in it but it does. That alone will make a huge difference just by making sure the moisture is out of the fabric. I have learned alot over the last 6-7 years. Hopfully this review alone will help someone else. I will buy again in fact I am about to buy this in White Matte so I will write a review on that in the future. I have bought the same vinyl in same brand before that the colors actually had their differences. Be on the look out for my next review. ... show more

I really like this vinyl! I like the way it feels. It was easier than most to apply. I had no issues with cutting ir weeding. After reading some bad reviews I first tried with a heavier cut but it wasn't necessary. I will definitely be purchasing more like this.

I did receive this late. I ordered 2 rolls. I didn't measure them to see if they were the right length. Weeding the design I made was a little annoying. You couldn't get those really satisfying pulls like with other vinyl's. But the application was flawless. I will deal with the weeding just to have the easy application on any day! I wish I had gotten it sooner but I would still probably order again. ... show more

The gold was ok but the white was a little hard to weed. It's pretty thick so I would definitely suggest doing more pressure and possibly 2 cuts with a Cricut.
