I’m 200lbs and my partner is 136. Every time we touch down on the bed, we risk falling asleep within minutes!! This mattress is way more comfortable than my old purple mattress. I know some people complain about the firmness, but it’s ideal for a heavy set, back sleeper like me. Side note: I would not recommend this for side sleepers. It’s much too firm. If you’re a side sleeper, you need to invest in a more plush mattress. I’m getting ready to buy a new, bigger bed frame soon so I’m looking forward to repurchasing this mattress in a queen size! It's a solid bed, and it's really GREAT for back or stomach sleepers, but just OK for side sleepers. The problem is I'm a HEAVY side sleeper. I noticed I toss and turn quite a bit. However, I did come from a plush mattress (which was too soft), but I did not toss and turn while sleeping on my side. I gave this mattress 1.5 years and it works just fine though. Very durable too. With this mattress, my arm falls asleep while laying on my side while my arm underneath my body. So now I extend my arm all the way out and I don't have that same issue, but I still toss and turn and have some back aches if I spend the whole night on my side. No back issues if I spend some of the night on my back, but I can't fall asleep like that. There was a subtle smell but if you let it breath for the day or two it suggests, it goes away. Tl;DR: Overall 3.7/5 for the 12" model, but I'll round up. Great for back and stomach sleepers, not ideal for side sleepers, especially heavy side sleepers but is manageable. If this is you, GO FOR THE 14" VERSION or find a 5-6 firmness mattress. For lighter weight side sleepers, get a plush to medium mattress, not medium firm. I should have switched it during the free nights trial. It still works and I do get good sleep on most nights. ... show more

I needed a couple of twin mattresses in my spare room and after reading what seemed like a 1000 reviews I went with Coolvie- I am so pleased with these!! They were super easy to set up- just opened the packaging and they rolled right out and fluffed right up. Some reviews mentioned that their mattress never fully set up but I did not have that experience. I have to say that they are far more comfortable than I expected and my guests have agreed! Wow! I bought this bed for my son, really skeptical thinking well its only while he grows. He is 12 and he needs the xl as he is alot talker now, it needs to last until he turns 16 at least. Now Im kind of jealous LOL. It truly is 14 inches, fluffy as can be medium to firm but comfy soft. And it feels like it supports all my 178lbs heavy curves… he is lighter so I wanted to get a feel and five it an honest review as an adult moddle aged woman. I'm so happy I decided to purchase this bed. I was previously sleeping on what felt like a slab of bacon compared to this. I would always wake up in pain but now that I have this new mattress I am pain-free. I actually feel like I get a full night's rest. It's definitely sturdy with edge support. I'm a plus size woman so having that firmness but still being plush is important. I would highly recommend this mattress for anybody looking for a replacement. So we have only ĥad this this mattress for a week now, but so far it has not disappointed. My husband has shoulder pain and I usually have back pain and have had to sleep with a body pillow for years.. yesterday I took a nap without my body pillow and slept great without any pain. We purchased the 14in king because we both like our sleep space and both tend to get up a million times during the night because we ain't as young as we used to be. Lol .But we don't disrupt each other like on our previous mattress. I never liked the pillow top that curved to your body because it always seemed to make my back pain worse. But this mattress does an amazing job of balancing that out and keeping me from being in pain. If this changes after a month or so I will update my review, but so far we are both pleased and surprised by the quality of this mattress. ... show more
