I like these lights. They are pretty bright and seem to be well built. The brackets are well made and screw into the extrusion of the housing with captive nuts that slide within the extrusion. Each of the Pods draw about 12 watts from my power supply, and the light bar draws about 40. The light from these project well. They are well packed, however the light bar on my set had a small nick in the coating. I dont think they were handled carefully while being shipped. ... show more

If you have a need for additional lighting but you are limited on space, this light works perfect. The distance the light throws the beam is actually pretty good considering the size. It does not compare to a 50" light but it is not designed to. This was perfect for my SxS project I needed. Very easy to wire up either utilizing a switched relay or power distribution system. Only area where it could be even better is the mounting hardware. The included screws could be a bit longer as I found them to be too short but that is an easy fix at the local hardware store. ... show more

This is currently less than $20 which is a very good price for this product. It throws lots of light all over the place. I found the mounting system to be unique but it works well. This is really too bright to use on the road. I was going to use them for reverse lights on my motorhome, but these are just major overkill for that purpose. I got this little light bar to replace the lights I had previously installed as one of them got damaged in a fender bender. It works well for what I need. It is mounted just above the roller fairlead on my winch. I have it angled pointing down pretty low since it is a combo spot/flood light and the spot is crazy bright. I have it hooked up the the flood light wires on my 2013 Jeep so I can turn them on/off with the OEM switch. That said, I certainly wouldn't turn them on while driving on the highway. They will blind oncoming traffic. The mounting hardware is less than average, I used my own nuts. The wires are thinner than I would like but they're LEDs so they don't require 16 gage wiring. No instructions are included. Overall I like it, but I don't love it. The price point makes me love it a little more (under 20 bucks) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Sorry about my terrible video skills! But, it really is the best way to get the point across for offroad lighting items. First off, the makers claim it is a "COMBO BEAM" and I am happy to say that I agree with that statement. And it does both with some skill. Now this light is not perfect at both things, but it is very passable. The spot allows you to see some distance. That orange fence in the video is over 100ft away thru heavy forest. And you can make it out without an issue in real life. The flood light works equally as well. While not the brightest work light ever, it is more than bright enough to let you see to do things like walk around your vehicle safely, make repairs or do some night winching. I will mention that the seller's claim that this is a "driving" or "fog" light is something that should be taken with a grain of salt. Sure, in an off road situation both may be true. But these lights ARE NOT DOT approved. So, don't get caught using them on the road if you don't want a ticket. All in all I really like this light. I also have a pair of the smaller, 7 inch models that match it and they will make a great set of lights for night 4 wheeling. But, I do have a couple of very small gripes. One is the mounting hardware. The lock washers and nuts in particular. The lock washers are the cheap, wire type and the nuts are thin, jam nut style. I will be dumping both for a standard, stainless steel Nylock nut just to feel safe that they stay tight. The other gripe is the electrical connectors. They are the cheapies. Why they didn't include some nice, heat shrink connectors is beyond me. Buy hey, I have a ton of those sitting around and like I said, those gripes are very small. So folks, that is about as good of a review I can give about these so far. I do have questions about longevity and water resistance buy only time will answer those questions. If I have any problems with either issue, I will definitely be back to let you know. So far they have good styling, sturdy construction and a lighting brightness and pattern that is very useful to us offroad types. Let's hope the goodness continues! ... show more

Why did I title this “Off-Road Use Only!”? Simple, it is WAY TOO BRIGHT! To ever be used on road. You will cause an accident if you leave this turned on while cruising the blacktop. It is so annoying that you have to look away so that it does not blind you. Value for money? It is sold as a ‘Flood Spot Combo Beam Driving Fog Lights Blah Blah Blah’, the usual word salad used to get you to purchase it. It is not a Spot Light, it is not a Driving Light either. It has short range only and could be called a Flood Light. Once again, Value for Money? Yes, it is priced decently as long as you understand it’s purpose which is to light up the width of a trail when moving slowly. For some reason it is supplied with 3 minifuse bladed fuses, one 10 amp and two 15 amps. I don’t know why because there are no instructions supplied with it. How many amps does it draw? I would guess under 10 based on the skinny wire gauge, it looks around 18 to 20 awg. The two mounts supplied with it are both clever and fairly unique. You can adjust the up/down angle with 4 bolts locking into a T-slot channel. Very clever! Infinite hole width adjustments also! I would say you are getting your moneys worth with this little light. I recommend buying it for off-road use ONLY! ... show more
