  • Easy to work with
Using in raised garden beds. Easier to work with compared to others I've used. Broke down easy and quickly. Seems to have great moisture retention. Will definitely buy again!

  • It's full of waste material not coco coir. Looks to be 20% inert material.
This is just crap. Half the 11lb coco coir is damp and molding . Lots of leaves and other matter not coco husks . I'm losing half the block, not sure I feel OK using the half that seems not so moist. I feel it's been wet for a long time with all the mold sporing .

  • Expansion
I am very pleased with this product and my plants seem to like it. I especially love that it's only 11 lbs, a manageable weight. I keep mine in a 20 gallon tote. Nope, that's not too big. After adding water to compressed brick, it expands to 18 gallons.

  • Soaks up water like it should.
You have to break it up with a garden rake, but it does soak up water. After the water recedes, though, it goes back to powder; doesn’t incorporate well with the soil.
