This worked great to secure a door to my garden/chicken run. It's a fairly heavy door, built from a 2x4 frame w/ wire fencing. The spring action prevents people from accidentally leaving the door open. The spring tension can be adjusted.

Quality seems ok, included screws for any product are always inferior, this is no different but better quality than most. Just keep in mind, it has a small hole to keep the pin in place. The hole does not apply if on the outside left installation. And the wind direction in the instructions are opposite for thst position. The instructions also do not state if you shoud install inside or outside. I took a chance on outside and it worked fine. Pictures in the Amazon ad also dont align well per instructions. It needs to be an inch like the video someone states. ... show more
