I work at a book and game store and keep a pocket of these to do coin magic for kids they are a bit light for some effects but most vanishes and Palma work great . I do have to scrape of the injection site as it is often a little spike.

This is a small bag, but would be great for table decor or to put in a small treasure chest. Very novelty toy like. Cheaper plastic coins and thick plastic gems, but it is what is pictured in their description. It just does not look as flashy in the bag as it does in their picture. It looks like a bag that you could walk into the party section of a store and pluck off the shelf. As I stated before, I think this would be great spread across tables at a pirate themed party/event. I would recommend a few bags though if you plan on using it for that. It is accurately 100 pieces, but it sounds bigger than what it actually is. I could hold all the pieces probably cupped in 2 hands. Barely, but I believe it could be done. And if not my hands, my fiancé could for sure. Im pretty happy with this product- my 4 kids love it, especially my 6 year old son who is in a pirate phase right now. You fet a decent amount of the plastic pirate coins and plastic gems, and they are very pretty and sparkly to look at. Sadly, I forgot to take photos before handing out all of the gift packs with these, but trust me when I say they were awesome. The coins and gems are amazing quality for this price and look really cool. I put one of each in a small gift box and handed them out to kids at Disneyland, as part of a Pirates of the Caribbean theme. They look great and the price cannot be beat for how many you receive. Perfect for guest favors, table scatter, decorations, cake/cupcake toppers, or just playing pirate around the house.
