I got these for my small business because I started making handmade earrings. I like how it came with jump rings and rubber backings as well as silver polishing cloths. Since I know that a lot of people have sensitive skin like myself I wanted to make sure that I was getting Hypoallergenic hooks. I wore some of my earrings with these hooks and I haven’t noticed any irritation so that’s a good thing … HOWEVER I’m not exactly sure… but I HIGHLY doubt that these are actual 925 silver. I don’t have a test kit but just by the price it seems they may not be. Some reviewers who are jewelry makers mentioned testing it and that it wasn’t 925 as well so I’m willing to bet if I got a test kit it would show the same. Price wise they are cheap but there are other sellers advertising hypoallergenic 925 Earring hooks at a better price point. So at first I thought I was getting a good price, but upon doing more research , there are other options. All in all these earrings do work for sensitive skin because I have wore them and haven’t noticed any irritation but time will only tell. I’d say do tons of research before you purchase these if you are looking for a true 9 to 5 sterling hooks. That’s why my overall review is only 3 stars. ... show more
