I’m never compelled to leave reviews unless something is so amazing or horrible. In this case, these surpassed my expectations in all aspects: comfort, cost, and style. I purchased these for a trip to Italy and France, where I knew I would be walking 20k+ steps a day on cobble stone streets, stairs and beaches. My group of friends invested in Birkenstocks, but I have never been a fan as those have never felt soft/comfortable enough for the soles of my feet. I purchased several similar pairs of shoes last minute to see which ones would be the most comfortable and these are the top by far! The soles are so light and soft, with enough room in the shoe for me to have room, yet feel secure. The buckle is adjustable (and I did adjust that to loosen for a better fit). I wore these daily for 6 days and had no blisters, no pain and no issues! I climbed the steps in Positano with no issues, so they are stable enough on different pavements. My friends even compared them to their Birkenstocks and agreed. In addition, my friends noted that the inside of the shoes didn’t leave “gross toe/feet marks” like their shoes did. While these may not be the most stylish sandals, they worked well with every outfit I wore - the neutral color helped them match every outfit. They are lightweight and don’t take up much room in your bag. I wore these on the plane and loved being able to slip them on and off. TLDR; buy these, you won’t regret it! I like these sandals because they look similar to a popular name brand but they are less than half the price. They are also very comfortable and the beige color goes with everything. They also seem sturdy. I bought them for a trip and ended up wearing them almost everyday. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because they seem to run a bit small. Great buy! These sandals are so comfortable! The suede is soft and the footbed has just enough arch support. I went with the Chestnut Suede because I wanted a neutral color. They are well constructed and feel very durable. The hole placement on the bands allows you to adjust for a perfect fit. I usually wear a 7-7.5 and I went with the 7.5 to allow for the flare of the edges and I'm glad I did because my foot sits perfectly in the shoe. I LOVE these, but please read… The shoes were shipped quickly in the original shoe box that had been taped shut, and they arrived undamaged. The sandals look just like those pricey cork soled sandals, but at a much better price. They run true to size and are EXTREMELY comfortable. However, here is what you need to know: I have wide feet and have never been able to wear that expensive brand, as the footbed is unforgiving and hurts my feet. These sandals only have that unforgiving edge around the outside. The footbed is like memory foam, and there is very little, if any, arch support, which works well for my feet. I had to adjust the straps one notch on each sandal, and it was a minor struggle as the holes are very small. I totally recommend these sandals, especially if you have wide feet and have never been able to comfortably wear that name brand. I really liked the idea of these reasonably priced alternatives to the major brand. However, I can’t say they compared well. I ordered the suede pair in the chestnut color. The outer of the upper (which is strange to say) seemed to be real leather suede. However, the part against my foot (the inner of the upper) felt like fabric, at least in this suede pair. I looked closely, and it looks like there are two layers bonded together in the upper, with the outer suede and the inner what feels like synthetic fabric-like material. There were several places that looked like cuts in the leather outer, possibly from the tag. The footbed seemed to be real suede and it was cushioned with memory foam. It did not have much or any arch support, which is something I need. These had a general “look” that went along with the name-brand styling, but the quality and level of support were not as good. There was something a bit different where they wouldn’t be mistaken for the big brand. However, given the price point, it would definitely work as a comfy summer shoes, especially if you don’t need or want arch support. I did end up sending them back, though, as the size was short on me despite use of the size chart. My feet are pretty much 140cm long, and the size 7 just barely fit, but it felt too short (I could sometimes feel the outer edges of the shoes with my toe and heel). I might try a different material, now that they are on sale, in 7.5 to see if that is better. It is possible the lining of the upper would be different for the suede upper versus the smooth leather. I just received these shoes today and I was so excited to try them on! I have a rather wide foot and normally wear a size 10. On the left I am wearing an older pair of Birkenstocks with leather. On the right I am wearing the new shoe. They fit more like a size 9 and even in the loosest notch they are still pretty snug. They aren’t an uncomfortable snug though. I would say they have way more cushion in the soles than Birkenstock though. I’m giving the shoe a 4/5 just because of the size and fit. They seemed very well made though!
