These percale sheets have a smooth finish and have a crispy feel. Not soft but not scratchy at all. I prefer a cool crisp feel which they have. Being 100% cotton they wrinkle a little but wrinkles smooth out easily when on the bed. A great value for the price. The sheets look nice, they fit & stay on our large, deep bed well. However, they do not feel "cottony" to me. They are very slick, almost like polyester our blankets slide off while we sleep, very strange, I've never had this happen. They are not like sliding into cozy cotton sheets. I just slept on the sheets for the first time last night. I did wash them first according to the manufacturers directions in cold water and dried on a low setting. Yes, they are wrinkled as many have stated in the reviews, but it doesn’t bother me since it’s just us sleeping in them. ( I may iron for guests) 😂 I have ordered three other sets of sheets in the last two weeks and all sent back before I even took them out of the package. I opened the package and felt them and they were so thin with no substance and the cost was $150 per set. They had high reviews and were Sateen sheets. I personally discovered that I do not like Sateen sheets! I find them slippery, cold and not comfy. I finally went online and searched to understand the different types of sheets and decided that percale sheets were what suited my comfort level best. I browse through Amazon and found many different companies that made percale sheets, but these had a good rating so I thought for $50 I’d give them a shot! Well, like I said earlier, this was my first night, but they were so comfortable and when my husband came to bed, he even turned and looked at me and said I like these sheets. * The jury is still out because last night was our first night and I’d like to wash them a couple of times before I update my review. ... show more

These sheets are excellent. The fabric is soft, but crisp, which I like. I gave them a 4 only because of slight wrinkles. I love the great elastic on fitted sheet, the size is perfect for our deep mattress. The flat sheet is long enough to tuck under mattress also.
