the "green" company that i work for buys these sets for their social events after they saw that their employees would just throw plastic forks, knives, and spoons in the garbage instead of recycling them. they were such great quality that i bought this set of forks for my own family for when we have get togethers as my wife has a huge family and we have family over several times a month. her family tends to not recycle so this is the perfect solution as we are a green family and know that these are 100% compostable if thrown in the garbage. we also bought a set of their spoons and knives that they sell on amazon individually which are just as good in quality. i highly recommend this product ... show more

I liked that they were compostable. Used for a taco salad at a graduation open house. A small percentage of forks broke when guests were trying to "fork" the tortilla chips, but overall I was satisfied. I would buy again, but not for foods that required a bit of force to cut.
